Meeting Jay
Part 2
The four of us stood at the airport, clad in casual Faze Clan attire, scanning the crowds of people rushing to and fro as we waited for the incoming flight from Texas. Our excitement and anticipation were palpable as we fidgeted with our luggage and glanced at our watches for what felt like the hundredth time. We had barely discussed what Jay looked like or what his personality would be like, but we were all hoping for someone who would fit in with our group's dynamic. As we waited, we chatted idly about our expectations. "I hope he's not a total nerd," Banks joked, chuckling to himself. "I mean, I love nerds, but we need someone who can keep up with us." Rain playfully rolled his eyes. "Come on, Banks, don't scare the kid before we even meet him." I shifted uncomfortably, my eyes fixed on the arrivals board as the minutes ticked by. I couldn't help but wonder what Jay would be like. Would he be outgoing and confident, or shy and reserved? Apex, ever the jokester, cracked a smile. "I'm just hoping he's not a try-hard. We don't need someone who's going to cringe us out." The flight from Texas landed, and we watched as passengers began to emerge from the gate. We stood patiently, scanning the crowd for a glimpse of our young fan. As the crowd thinned out, we exchanged nervous glances. That's when I saw him – a small, Asian kid with short, fluffy brown hair and big brown eyes. He looked around nervously, his pale complexion standing out amidst the bustling airport. He was probably around 5'3", a bit on the shorter side for a 16-year-old. As he approached us, his soft voice caught my attention. "H-hi, I'm Jason." My heart skipped a beat. I felt a sudden rush of... something. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but there was something about Jason's gentle demeanor and adorable features that caught me off guard. I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself I was being ridiculous. He was a kid, after all. The others, however, seemed completely unfazed. "Hey, Jason! We're Faze Clan," Apex said with a grin, snatching up Jason's luggage. "Welcome to New York!" Jason smiled shyly, his eyes darting between us. "Thanks... it's nice to meet you guys." As we guided Jason to our car, I couldn't help but steal glances at him. He was chubby in all the right places – his thighs and hips – and his waist dipped inward in a way that made him look almost... delicate. The drive to our house was quiet, with Jason chatting nervously about his flight and his excitement to meet us. We responded with easy banter, trying to put him at ease. As we pulled up to our apartment, Jason's eyes widened in awe. "Whoa, this is a really nice place," he said, taking in the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets of New York. Banks chuckled. "Yeah, it's not bad. You'll be staying with us for a week, so get ready for some gaming, vlogging, and general chaos." Jason's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered. "Sounds like fun," he said, his voice still soft but a little more confident. As we stepped out of the car, I caught myself walking a little closer to Jason, my eyes fixed on his profile. What was wrong with me? He was a kid, a fan, and I needed to keep things professional. But as we entered our apartment, I couldn't shake off the feeling that this week was going to be a lot more interesting – and complicated – than I had anticipated.
