**Chapter 1: A Glimpse of Humanity**

Part 1

Sangwoo was walking down the London street at night, his arm being grabbed by his mom, as they made their way to a small diner for a farewell dinner. His mom had taken him on this trip to London as a goodbye gift, since he had finally decided to move out of her house. As they strolled, Sangwoo observed his surroundings with a soulless gaze, his eyes scanning the crowded streets without any real interest. His mother rambled on about something, but Sangwoo wasn't really listening. Nothing seemed to catch his attention, nothing ever did. That was until his eyes landed on an electric bus stop billboard. The billboard displayed a promotion for a new Netflix show called Insiders 2, and it featured a group of people that Sangwoo had never seen before. One of them, however, caught his eye and made him stop walking, causing his mother to stumble forward. She looked over at him, confused, and saw that he was staring intently at the billboard. The billboard changed its image, displaying a new promotion, but Sangwoo didn't notice. He was too busy staring at the face that had caught his attention. The face belonged to a boy with short, fluffy bleach-dyed hair and a bright smile. His eyes were brown, and his skin was pale, but there was something about him that drew Sangwoo in. Sangwoo's mother looked at the billboard, then back at her son, and saw something in his eyes that she had never seen before - emotion. She looked at the billboard again, and this time, she noticed that it had changed to a different image. She asked Sangwoo what was wrong, but he didn't respond. He just kept staring at the billboard, his eyes fixed on the boy's face. The billboard changed again, and the Netflix promotion popped up once more. Sangwoo quickly took out his phone and snapped a picture of the promotion, then another one of the boy's face. His mother watched in amazement as her son's expression changed, his eyes lighting up with a spark of interest. For the first time in his life, Sangwoo felt something. It was a mix of emotions - love, obsession, and a need to claim the boy as his own. He didn't know the boy's name, but he knew that he wanted him. His mother saw the change in him and felt a mix of emotions herself - surprise, concern, and a hint of fear. As the billboard changed again, Sangwoo began to walk, his mother still holding his arm. But his mind was no longer on the present; it was on the boy with the bleach-dyed hair and the bright smile. He couldn't stop thinking about him, and he knew that he had to find out more. "Let's go get some dinner, dear," his mother said, trying to sound normal, but Sangwoo didn't respond. He was too busy planning his next move, his mind consumed by the image of the boy on the billboard.
