"A Weekend of Unexpected Consequences"

Part 1

The sun had just begun to set on a warm Friday evening, casting a golden glow over the Birch's sprawling estate. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air, accompanied by the clinking of glasses and the occasional burst of music from the living room. Mr. and Mrs. Birch were busy preparing dinner in the kitchen, while their children were scattered about the house, each engrossed in their own activities. In his room, Nick was pacing back and forth, excitement radiating from every pore. He had been waiting for what felt like an eternity for his best friend Andrew to finally be allowed to spend the weekend with him. For years, he had been trying to convince his parents to let Andrew come over, but Andrew's parents had always said no. That was until last week, when Nick's persistence finally paid off. Andrew's mom had agreed to let him spend every weekend at the Birch's, giving Andrew's parents some much-needed time to themselves. Nick's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his mother's voice calling out from downstairs. "Nick, dinner's almost ready! Why don't you go get Andrew and bring him down?" Leah, who was lounging on the couch in the living room, looked up from her phone and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't particularly interested in meeting Andrew, but she had heard Nick talk about him enough to know that he was probably just another friend to add to his collection. Meanwhile, Judd was in his room, trying to avoid the commotion. He had heard Nick raving about Andrew's impending arrival and had been avoiding everyone, not wanting to deal with another "idiot". But as he heard the sound of his family's voices calling him down for dinner, he reluctantly got up and made his way downstairs. As he entered the dining room, his eyes scanned the space until they landed on a small, fluffy-haired boy with large brown eyes and black-framed glasses. Andrew was dressed in a green sweater and blue jeans, and looked adorable standing next to Nick, who was beaming with excitement. Judd's eyes narrowed as he took in Andrew's appearance, and for a moment, he just stared. Andrew, oblivious to Judd's intense gaze, smiled nervously as he greeted the Birch family. Mr. and Mrs. Birch welcomed him warmly, amazed by his kind demeanor and good manners. As they took their seats at the dinner table, Leah barely acknowledged Andrew's presence, while Nick chattered excitedly about all the things they would do over the weekend. Judd, however, couldn't take his eyes off Andrew. He was shocked by the boy's beauty, and a sudden sense of possessiveness washed over him. He knew in that moment that Andrew would be his, and his only. Not Nick's, not anybody's, but Judd's. The dinner conversation was lively, with Nick dominating the discussion and Andrew politely contributing. Judd, on the other hand, was silent, his eyes fixed on Andrew as he tried to process his unexpected reaction. As the evening drew to a close, Andrew helped with the dishes, his gratitude and thanks pouring out to the Birch family for their hospitality. As he finished up, Mr. Birch smiled and clapped him on the back. "We're glad to have you here, Andrew. You're welcome to stay as long as you like." Little did they know, this weekend would bring unexpected consequences, and Judd's life would never be the same again.
