Holding Their Breath

Part 5

The video concept was simple: see if Faze Clan could collectively hold their breath longer than the world record holder. The team had gathered at the pool, surrounded by cameras and equipment, and MrBeast was excited to see how they would all do. The record holder, a calm and collected individual, was already in the water, having been submerged for over four minutes. The Faze Clan members took turns getting into the water, each trying to hold their breath for as long as possible. Max had done the best so far, managing to hold out for over 30 seconds, but it was clear that none of them were going to beat the record holder. As the last few members finished their attempts, Jason was getting ready to go. He took a deep breath, got into the water, and started counting down in his head. The seconds ticked by, and Jason's time was already surpassing Max's. The record holder was still underwater, having been submerged for over four minutes, and Jason was starting to feel the strain. But he pushed himself, holding his breath for over a minute, breaking Max's record. However, it was clear that he wasn't going to beat the world record holder. Jason's lungs started to burn, and he knew he had to get out of the water. He swam up to the surface, breaking through the water's tension, and climbed out of the pool. As soon as he was out, he was hit with a fit of coughs, and he clung to Adapt, who was the closest to him at the time. Adapt gently rubbed circles into Jason's wet back, trying to calm him down. MrBeast watched with concern, his eyes fixed on Jason's struggling form. He had never seen him like this before, and it was starting to worry him. Adapt swiftly asked Silky to grab Jason's inhaler, and MrBeast's eyes widened in shock. Jason had asthma? He had no idea. If he had known, he wouldn't have picked this video concept. Silky quickly returned with the inhaler, and Adapt helped Jason take a few puffs. Almost immediately, Jason started to feel better, and his coughing subsided. He was laughing and joking with the others again, even cheering on Rage, who had just gotten into the water. As Jason continued to recover, MrBeast finally had a chance to look at him again, this time without Adapt's hold on him. At first, he felt a pang of guilt for not knowing about Jason's asthma, but as he looked at him, he couldn't help but notice how his wet clothes clung to his wide hips and thin waist. His thick thighs glistened in the light, and MrBeast's guilt turned into something else entirely. He had to hide it, he couldn't let anyone know yet, especially not now that they were on camera. Just then, Rage climbed out of the water, and the Faze Clan members were shocked to see that the world record holder was still underwater, having been submerged for over 4 minutes. The room erupted in cheers and applause as the record holder finally emerged, smiling calmly. MrBeast's eyes never left Jason's face, and he couldn't help but feel a newfound appreciation for the young man.
