**Chapter 1: The Affair**
Part 1
Religious had always thought that her life was perfect. She had a loving husband, Victor, and a best friend, Sally, who was always by her side. But little did she know, her world was about to be shattered into a million pieces. It was a typical Wednesday evening, and she had decided to surprise Victor at his office. As she walked in, she was met with a scene that would haunt her for the rest of her life. Sally and Victor were in bed together, naked and entwined in each other's arms. Religious felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't breathe, and her eyes welled up with tears. She tried to speak, but her voice was barely a whisper. "How could you, Victor?" she stammered. Victor and Sally quickly jumped out of bed, trying to come up with an excuse. But Religious wasn't having it. She knew what she had seen, and she knew that her best friend and her husband were having an affair. "Get out of my sight," she spat at Sally. "And as for you, Victor, I don't even know who you are anymore." Victor tried to apologize, but Religious wasn't interested. She turned around and walked out of the office, leaving the two lovers behind. She felt like her world had been turned upside down. She had nowhere to go, and she didn't know what to do. As she walked out of the office building, she felt a lump in her throat. She started to cry, and tears streamed down her face. She didn't know how she was going to face her friends and family. She felt like she was all alone in the world. She walked for hours, trying to clear her head. She eventually found herself in a part of town she had never seen before. It was a rich and affluent area, with grand houses and manicured lawns. She walked up to a large mansion and sat down on the steps, feeling defeated. As she sat there, she heard a voice behind her. "Can I help you?" it said. Religious turned around to see a tall, handsome man standing behind her. He had a kind face and piercing blue eyes. "I...I don't know what to do," she stammered. The man walked down the steps and sat down beside her. "Tell me what happened," he said. Religious poured out her heart to the stranger, telling him about her husband and best friend's affair. The man listened intently, his face filled with compassion. "I'm so sorry," he said. "But you're not alone. I'll help you through this." Religious looked at him, feeling a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this stranger could help her get through this difficult time. "My name is King," he said, with a gentle smile. "And I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help you." Little did Religious know, her life was about to take a dramatic turn, one that would change her fate forever.
