"Submission of the Heart"

Part 7

Ruka's eyes locked onto Mai's, a mix of determination and guilt swirling in her chest. She knew what she had to do, and she couldn't let Mai's protests stand in her way. Mai's eyes widened in fear as Ruka approached her, her movements slow and deliberate. Mai's body tensed, her muscles rigid as she prepared to resist. Ruka's heart ached with regret, but she steeled herself for what was to come. She reached out and gently grasped Mai's wrists, her touch soft but firm. "Mai, please," Ruka said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know this isn't what you want, but I have to do this. For Midori, for us, for the sake of our family." Mai's eyes flashed with defiance, her face twisted in a snarl. "No," she yelled, her voice echoing through the room. "I've waited. I don't want to risk this baby not having my DNA." Ruka's grip on Mai's wrists tightened, her fingers digging gently into Mai's skin. "I don't care," Mai yelled, her body bucking against Ruka's hold. Ruka's face contorted in a mixture of pain and regret, but she didn't let go. She had to do this. She had to. With a gentle but firm motion, she pulled Mai onto the bed, her body covering Mai's. Mai's eyes welled up with tears as Ruka's weight pressed her into the mattress. She struggled and kicked, her body thrashing against Ruka's, but Ruka held her down, her touch gentle but unyielding. As Mai's fighting grew weaker, Ruka's guilt and regret swirled into a vortex of emotions, making her chest heavy with sorrow. She knew she was crossing a line, one that could never be uncrossed. But she did it anyway, her body moving with a quiet reverence, as if trying to make amends for the violence of the act. Mai's tears fell onto the pillow, her body shaking with sobs as Ruka's touch ignited a spark of pain and sadness. Ruka's eyes met Mai's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with the weight of what had just happened. In that moment, Ruka knew that she had forever changed the dynamics of their relationship, and that their lives would never be the same again. The darkness that had descended upon them seemed to close in, a suffocating shroud that threatened to consume them all.
