"Dark Secrets Unfold"

Part 6

As you entered Tokyo's hospital room, you were met with a sight that made your blood run cold. Tokyo's eyes were wide open, and she was staring at you with a look of terror. And on her bedside table, a small piece of paper with a cryptic message scrawled on it: "They're watching." Dr. Lee rushed to Tokyo's side, checking her vitals with a look of concern. Suddenly, Tokyo's body began to convulse, and she let out a weak cry. Her eyes rolled back, and she started to vomit. The sound was like a guttural retch, and the smell was overwhelming. The nurse on duty rushed in with a basin, trying to catch the mess, but Tokyo's body seemed to be expelling everything she had eaten in the past few days. The first wave of vomit was a yellowish liquid, splattering everywhere. The nurse tried to grab a towel to clean up, but Tokyo continued to heave. A second wave came, this time with bits of half-digested food and bile. The nurse handed Dr. Lee a tube, and the doctor inserted it into Tokyo's mouth, trying to suction out the mess. But Tokyo's body wouldn't stop. A third wave came, this time with a frothy, pinkish liquid that seemed to come from deep within her lungs. The nurse and Dr. Lee exchanged worried glances, trying to figure out what was happening. Tokyo's face was pale, and her eyes seemed to be sunken into her skull. The vomiting continued, each wave more violent than the last. The hospital room became a nightmare scene, with Tokyo's body wracked with convulsions, and the sound of her vomiting echoing off the walls. You stood there, frozen in horror, unsure of what to do. Dr. Lee shouted for the nurse to get more medication, trying to calm Tokyo's body down. The nurse rushed out of the room, returning with a syringe. Dr.. Lee administered the medication, and slowly, Tokyo's convulsions began to subside. The vomiting slowed, and eventually stopped. Tokyo lay there, exhausted, her body trembling with weakness. The nurse and Dr. Lee cleaned up the mess, trying to make the room presentable again. You sat beside Tokyo, holding her hand, trying to comfort her. But Tokyo's eyes locked onto yours, and you saw a flicker of recognition. She tried to speak, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't want to tell you," she whispered. "I was scared." Dr. Lee leaned in, her ears perked up. "What did you want to tell us, Tokyo?" she asked gently. Tokyo's eyes darted around the room, as if she was searching for an escape. And then, in a voice that was barely audible, she whispered: "The food... it wasn't an accident."
