"A Night of Slumber and Solace"
Part 115
The warmth and comfort of Kirishima's hug still lingered, and I was starting to feel a sense of calm wash over me. As I pulled back from Kirishima, I noticed Mina walking into the room with a big smile on her face. "Hey guys, want to have a slumber party in the dorms?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. The room fell silent for a moment as everyone considered the idea. Deku, Bakugo, and the others exchanged glances, and then nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan to me," Deku said, a grin spreading across his face. "I'll bring the snacks," Ochaco chimed in, already heading towards the kitchen. Kirishima looked at me, and I nodded, still feeling a bit fragile but also grateful for the distraction. "Yeah, that sounds like a great idea," I said, trying to sound more enthusiastic than I felt. Mina's smile grew even wider. "Awesome! Everyone agreed, right?" As everyone nodded in agreement, I turned to Mina with a thought. "Hey, can I invite Shinso?" I asked, feeling a bit hesitant. Mina's face lit up. "Of course, Vesper, you can," she said, her voice warm and welcoming. I quickly pulled out my phone and sent Shinso a text. "Hey, want to have a slumber party with me and my friends???" I waited for a moment, and then my phone buzzed with a response. "Sure, why not," Shinso replied, his response brief but enthusiastic. I showed the text to Mina, who giggled. "I'll make sure to save him a spot," she said, winking at me. As the others began to make preparations for the slumber party, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards my friends. They were willing to put aside their concerns and worries to help me feel better, and that meant the world to me. With the slumber party underway, I settled in for a night of laughter, comfort, and companionship, surrounded by the people I cared about most. And with Shinso on his way, I knew that this night was going to be one to remember.
