**Chapter 3: "Growing Closer"**

Part 3

As the days turned into weeks, Minjoo found herself growing more and more comfortable around Yujin. They would often cross paths in the school hallways, exchanging smiles and pleasantries. Minjoo couldn't help but notice the way Yujin's eyes sparkled when he talked about basketball, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. Yujin, too, seemed to be enjoying Minjoo's company. He would often join her and her friends during lunch, regaling them with stories of his basketball games. Minjoo found herself laughing and smiling more and more around him, feeling a sense of ease that she hadn't experienced in a long time. But despite their growing closeness, Minjoo and Yujin were cautious about being discovered. They knew that their families would not approve of their relationship, and they didn't want to risk causing a scene. So they kept their interactions brief and casual, always mindful of their surroundings. Chaewon, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the changes in Minjoo. He continued to treat her with a polite affection, never once suspecting that her heart belonged to someone else. But as he watched her laughing and chatting with Yujin, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. At first, Chaewon tried to brush off the feeling. He told himself that he was being ridiculous, that Minjoo was just being friendly. But as the days turned into weeks, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was losing her. One day, as Chaewon was walking down the hallway, he caught sight of Minjoo and Yujin together. They were standing by their lockers, chatting and laughing, and for a moment, Chaewon felt like he had been punched in the gut. He quickened his pace, trying to get away from the sight, but he couldn't help but wonder what was going on between them. As he turned the corner, he bumped into one of his friends, who was grinning at him mischievously. "Hey, Chaewon, what's going on? You look like you've lost your last marble." Chaewon forced a smile, trying to play it cool. "Nothing, just got a lot on my mind." But as he walked away, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was changing. Minjoo was growing closer to Yujin, and he was starting to feel like he was losing her. He didn't know what to do, but he knew that he couldn't just stand by and watch her slip away. For the first time, Chaewon felt a sense of unease in his relationship with Minjoo. He had always assumed that she would go along with their arrangement, that she would be happy to marry him and fulfill her family's expectations. But now, he wasn't so sure. As he walked into his next class, Chaewon couldn't help but wonder what the future held. Would Minjoo choose him, or would she follow her heart and pursue a relationship with Yujin? He didn't know, but he was starting to realize that he didn't want to lose her, no matter what it took.
