**The Darkness Beckons**
Part 3
As the door closed behind Hange, I felt a chill run down my spine. The room seemed to grow darker, the shadows deepening and twisting into menacing shapes that seemed to watch me. I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself it was just my imagination, but I couldn't shake the sense of unease that had settled over me. I lay there for what felt like hours, my mind racing with thoughts of Hange and the problem at the office. I could imagine him walking into the conference room, his face set in a determined expression as he assessed the situation. I pictured him barking orders, his team scrambling to respond to his commands. I knew he was a skilled and capable leader, but I couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. What if he couldn't fix the problem? What if he got hurt? As the minutes ticked by, my eyelids began to droop, heavy with fatigue. I tried to fight it, but eventually, exhaustion won out, and I drifted off into a fitful sleep. But my rest was short-lived. I was jolted awake by a loud crash, my heart racing as I sat up with a start. The room was still dark, but I could see a faint sliver of light coming from the window. I threw off the covers and got out of bed, my bare feet padding softly on the floor. I made my way to the window and pulled back the curtains, revealing a sight that made my blood run cold. The sky was a deep, foreboding grey, with clouds that seemed to swirl and twist in every direction. And on the ground, I saw a figure standing in the garden, staring up at the window. For a moment, I froze, my heart pounding in my chest. The figure was shrouded in shadows, making it impossible to discern any features. But as I stood there, transfixed with fear, the figure slowly raised a hand, and I saw a glint of metal in the faint light. My breath caught in my throat as I realized that someone was outside, and they were armed. I spun around, racing back to the bed to grab my phone and dial Hange's number. But as I waited for him to answer, I realized that I was alone, and that the person outside could be a threat not just to me, but to Hange as well. Panic set in, my mind racing with worst-case scenarios. I tried to stay calm, telling myself that I needed to get help, but my hands were shaking as I dialed the emergency number. As I waited for someone to pick up, I kept my eyes fixed on the window, my heart pounding in my chest. Who was outside, and what did they want? And where was Hange?
