"Buried Alive"
Part 2
As the van finally came to a stop, Maya's stomach lurched, and she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Brad turned off the engine and stepped out of the van, his movements fluid and confident. Maya watched him, her eyes fixed on his broad shoulders and chiseled physique, as he walked around to her side of the van. He pulled open the door, and Maya flinched, her heart racing with fear. But instead of grabbing her, Brad simply gestured for her to exit the van. Maya hesitated, her eyes scanning the surroundings, but all she saw was darkness and trees. They were in the middle of nowhere. With a sense of resignation, Maya stepped out of the van, her eyes locked on Brad's. He was even more imposing up close, his piercing blue eyes seeming to bore into her soul. Maya felt a shiver run down her spine as he reached out and wrapped his hand around her wrist. "Come with me," he said, his voice low and husky. Maya tried to pull away, but Brad's grip was like a vice. He led her to a small, dilapidated house on the outskirts of the woods. The exterior looked abandoned, but as they stepped inside, Maya saw that it was surprisingly well-maintained. Brad pulled her down a set of creaky stairs, and Maya's heart sank as she realized they were heading into a basement. The air grew colder, and the smell of damp earth filled her nostrils. At the bottom of the stairs, Brad pushed open a door, revealing a small, dimly lit room. In the center of the room was a hole in the ground, roughly six feet square. Maya's eyes widened as Brad pulled her closer, his eyes glinting with a mixture of amusement and intensity. "Welcome to your new home," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Maya's fear spiked, and she tried to pull away, but Brad's grip was too strong. He lifted her up, and for a moment, she felt weightless, suspended in mid-air. Then, he lowered her into the hole, and Maya landed with a thud on the cold, damp earth. As she scrambled to her feet, Maya's eyes locked on Brad's, and she felt a jolt of surprise. Despite the danger and fear that surrounded her, she couldn't help but notice how sexy he was. His chiseled jawline, his piercing blue eyes, and his rugged good looks all combined to make him incredibly attractive. Maya's mind reeled as she tried to process her feelings. She was being held captive by a stranger, and yet, she couldn't help but feel a spark of attraction. She pushed the thought aside, telling herself she was crazy. But as she gazed up at Brad, she knew she couldn't deny her feelings. Brad, on the other hand, seemed completely unphased by Maya's gaze. He simply smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and said, "You'll be staying here for a while." As he turned to leave, Maya called out, "Wait!" Her voice echoed off the walls of the hole, and Brad turned back to her. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly. Brad's smile grew wider, and he said, "My name is Brad, and you, Maya Hart, are my guest." Maya's eyes narrowed, and she asked, "Why me?" Brad's expression turned serious, and for a moment, Maya saw a glimmer of something else in his eyes. Something that looked almost like... longing. But then, his mask slipped back into place, and he said, "You'll find out soon enough." As he turned and walked away, Maya watched him, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation, but also, a spark of curiosity. Who was this man, and what did he want from her? As the darkness closed in around her, Maya heard a faint whisper in her ear. It was a voice she recognized, and her eyes widened in shock. "You're going to be here for a while, Maya," the voice said. "And I'm going to enjoy every minute of it." Maya's heart skipped a beat as she realized that the voice belonged to Jackson Rathbone, the actor she had a major crush on. She couldn't believe it. The man who had kidnapped her was her celebrity crush. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, and Maya wasn't sure if she should be scared or turned on. All she knew was that she was in trouble, and she had a feeling that her life was about to change forever.
