"A Peaceful Slumber"

Part 5

As I continued to drink from my sippy cup, I began to feel sleepier and sleepier. Hange's gentle touch and soothing voice had worked their magic, and I felt my eyelids growing heavier. I sucked on my thumb, a habit I had developed as a child, and let out a contented sigh. Hange smiled and continued to stroke my hair, his touch gentle and reassuring. As I drifted off to sleep, Hange carefully lifted me from his lap and gently laid me down in my specialized crib. The crib was designed specifically for me, with extra padding and support to ensure my safety and comfort. Hange made sure I was comfortable, adjusting the pillows and blankets to just the right position. As I slept, Hange wrapped his tail gently around my fragile body, a protective barrier that made me feel safe and secure. His tail was like a warm, fuzzy blanket, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me as I drifted off into a deep and restful sleep. Hours passed, and I slowly began to wake up. The warmth of the sun streaming through the windows and the sound of birds chirping outside my room gently roused me from my slumber. I stretched, arching my back and extending my claws, and then looked around, taking in my surroundings. Hange was sitting in a chair beside my crib, a gentle smile on his face. He was preparing my breakfast, and the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen made my stomach growl with hunger. I saw that he had prepared a bowl of soft, mushy food, as well as a sippy cup filled with my favorite warm milk. Hange poured the milk into my sippy cup, and then looked at me with a warm smile. "Good morning, my little Lotus Dragon," he said, his voice low and soothing. "Breakfast is ready." I smiled, feeling a sense of joy and contentment wash over me. I reached out for my sippy cup, and Hange gently handed it to me. I took a sip of the warm milk, feeling it flow down my throat and warm my belly. Hange spooned some of the soft food into my mouth, and I ate eagerly, savoring the delicious flavors and textures. As I ate, Hange talked to me, telling me all about the day's plans and adventures. I listened, entranced, feeling happy and content in his presence. As I finished my breakfast, Hange smiled at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm glad you're feeling better, little one," he said, his voice full of warmth and affection. "Today is going to be a great day, I can feel it."
