"An Unexpected Encounter"

Part 5

As Weiss's eyes locked onto the mysterious woman, she felt a jolt of surprise and curiosity. The woman's gaze held hers for a moment, and then she smiled and nodded slightly, as if acknowledging Weiss's presence. Weiss's mind reeled as she tried to process what was happening. Who was this woman, and why did she seem to be watching her? Professor Port's voice cut through the air, shouting out instructions and encouragement to the team. Weiss's attention snapped back to the training session, and she refocused on her sparring match with Blake. But her eyes kept drifting back to the sidelines, searching for the woman. As the drill came to an end, Weiss made her way over to Professor Port, trying to catch her breath. The woman was still standing on the sidelines, watching her with an intense gaze. Weiss felt a shiver run down her spine as their eyes met again. "Great job, Weiss," Professor Port said, clapping her on the back. "You're really starting to come into your own." Weiss smiled, trying to play it cool, but her eyes kept drifting back to the woman. As she turned to walk away, she heard a low voice behind her. "You're quite impressive, Weiss Schnee." Weiss turned to see the woman standing right behind her, a charming smile on her face. "Who are you?" Weiss asked, trying to sound calm. "My name is Eli," the woman replied, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "And I've been watching you for a while now." Weiss's eyes narrowed slightly, unsure of what to make of Eli's words. "What do you mean?" she asked. Eli chuckled. "Let's just say I'm interested in seeing how you'll develop. You have a certain... spark within you." Weiss felt a flush rise to her cheeks as Eli's words sent a shiver down her spine. She wasn't sure what to make of this mysterious stranger, but she couldn't deny the sense of intrigue that had taken hold of her. As Eli turned to walk away, Weiss called out to her. "Wait," she said, her voice a little softer than she intended. Eli turned back, a questioning look on her face. "Yes?" Weiss hesitated, unsure of what to say. But before she could think of anything, Eli smiled and nodded. "I'll talk to you later, Weiss. It was nice meeting you." And with that, Eli turned and walked away, leaving Weiss feeling both relieved and confused. Who was this person, and what did she want with her? Weiss couldn't shake the feeling that her life was about to change in ways she couldn't yet imagine.
