## Beyond the Kriegsmarine's Veil: The Forgotten München
Part 1
In the world of Azur Lane, where sentient warships, known as shipgirls, battle a mysterious alien race called the Sirens, the Ironblood faction welcomes a new shipgirl, München. She is based on the historical M-class cruisers of the German Kriegsmarine, a class of light cruisers that were never built. München's manifestation is a significant event, as she is the only shipgirl of her class. Her personality is kind, sweet, joking, quiet, smart, caring, and good-natured, but she also struggles with sadness and withdrawal due to being the only one of her class. München's rigging is a marvel of engineering, inspired by the cancelled M-class cruisers. She wears a silver-colored and metal mouth guard that has a pair of hollow oval-shaped patterns on the insides of the ears. Her rigging features a unique black spear that can activate from a projector on her arm, which she can use to block attacks. With her 5'4" frame, München exudes a sense of elegance and poise, despite her troubled past. The Ironblood ships, led by Bismarck, take a subtle yet keen interest in München's well-being. They ensure she eats, doesn't overwork herself, and doesn't try to do anything drastic. Roon, in particular, takes it upon herself to watch over München, often staying in her dorm and reporting back to Bismarck. Prinz Eugen, with a hint of a crush on München, teases her but is also concerned about her safety. When München goes on a solo patrol, intending to confront the Sirens, specifically Purifier, who she believes would kill her, she is being watched by multiple Ironblood ships. They follow her from a distance, ready to intervene if necessary. Bismarck intercepts her after the patrol and subtly expresses concern for her safety. München is surprised and starts dodging questions about her patrol. As the story unfolds, Azur Lane discovers München's existence but lacks information on her capabilities and design. Senior Azur Lane leadership discusses the little information they have, and they decide to send squadrons to patrol the Atlantic and gather more information on München. The Royal Navy begins increased patrols around the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea to keep an eye on Ironblood ship movements, hoping to find München. In a tense confrontation, Royal Navy planes spot München and her escorts on a convoy raid. Ironblood intelligence intercepts transmissions between the Royal Navy, and they quickly realize that München is the unknown battleship. Prinz Hipper decides to cancel the operation and return to base. The Royal Navy mobilizes a fleet to chase München's fleet, led by King George V and New Jersey. The chase begins, with the Royal Navy sending planes to slow the Ironblood fleet down. München fires her guns at a distant carrier from the Royal Navy. In the end, the Ironblood fleet makes it past the Ironblood bliss coastal range and is guarded to port by home with Bismarck hugging a confused München. Senior Azur Lane leadership thanks Belfast and Sheffield for their analysis, which revealed that München is from the cancelled battleship class, the O class. This revelation shocks everyone, and there will be more attempts to understand and capture München to neutralize or convert the threat. As the story concludes, München remains a mystery, a shipgirl with a unique history and abilities, and a key player in the complex web of alliances and rivalries in the world of Azur Lane.
