"A Moment of Tranquility"

Part 2

As I lay my head against Hange's muscular chest, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. He gently wrapped his arms around me, holding me close as I rested my head on his heart. The sound of his heartbeat was like a lullaby, soothing my frazzled nerves and calming my mind. Hange gently took my gloved hand in his, his fingers intertwining with mine in a gentle grasp. I felt a sense of comfort in his touch, a sense of security that I had never experienced before. He stroked my hand with his thumb, a soft, gentle motion that seemed to calm me even further. As we sat there, Hange looked down at me and smiled. "Hey, Ethan, I think it's time we started studying for that math test, don't you?" he said, his voice low and soothing. I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement build inside me. I had always struggled with math, but with Hange by my side, I felt like I could conquer anything. Hange pulled out his phone and opened up a math app, showing me a series of equations and formulas. But instead of just dumping a load of information on me, he started to explain it in a way that made sense to me. "Okay, Ethan, imagine you have five toy boxes, and each toy box can hold three toys," he said, using his hands to demonstrate. "If you have 15 toys, and you want to put them all in the toy boxes, how many toys will each box hold?" I thought for a moment, visualizing the toy boxes and the toys in my mind. "Each box will hold three toys," I said, my voice filled with confidence. Hange smiled, his eyes sparkling with pride. "That's right, Ethan! And that's basically what this equation is saying: 3 x 5 = 15. It's like having three groups of five toys each." As he continued to explain the math in a way that made sense to me, I started to feel a sense of understanding that I had never experienced before. It was like a light bulb had gone off in my head, and suddenly, math didn't seem so scary anymore. With Hange's help, I started to work through the practice problems, using visual aids and real-life examples to help me understand the concepts. It was amazing how much more sense it all made when someone explained it in a way that I could understand. As the hours passed, I found myself feeling more and more confident. I was actually starting to get the hang of this math thing, and it was all thanks to Hange's patient and gentle teaching style. As we finished up our study session, Hange leaned in and kissed me softly on the forehead. "You're a natural, Ethan," he said, his voice filled with pride. "I'm so proud of you." I smiled, feeling a sense of happiness and contentment wash over me. I knew that I had found someone special in Hange, someone who not only loved me for who I was but also helped me to see the world in a new and exciting way.
