"Shadows of Tension"
Part 5
Andrew felt a little awkward still, the encounter with Judd leaving him with a sense of unease. He glanced down at himself, realizing he was still just in a towel, and decided it was best to head to the guest bedroom to grab some clothes. He walked out of the living room, trying to shake off the feeling that something was off. As he made his way down the hallway, he didn't notice that Judd had gotten up and was following him. Judd's movements were silent, his eyes fixed on Andrew's back. Andrew reached the guest bedroom and pushed open the door, stepping inside. The room was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of the air conditioner. Andrew walked over to the dresser, pulling out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. He began to get dressed, his mind still on the strange encounter with Judd. Just as he was pulling on his jeans, he felt a presence behind him. He spun around, his heart racing, and that's when he saw Judd standing in the doorway, his eyes fixed intently on Andrew. Andrew's skin prickled with unease as Judd stepped into the room, his movements slow and deliberate. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Andrew asked, trying to sound casual despite the tension building up inside him. Judd didn't respond. Instead, he walked closer to Andrew, his eyes never leaving his face. Andrew felt a shiver run down his spine as Judd stopped in front of him, his face inches from Andrew's. The air was thick with tension, the silence between them almost palpable. Andrew could feel Judd's breath on his skin, and it sent a shiver down his spine. He tried to step back, but his legs felt rooted to the spot. Judd's eyes seemed to be burning with an intensity that made Andrew's skin prickle. He could feel the heat emanating from Judd's body, and it was making him feel lightheaded. Andrew's heart was racing, his mind screaming at him to get out of there, but his legs refused to move. And then, just as suddenly as it had started, Judd's expression changed. His eyes softened, and he took a step back, breaking the spell that had held Andrew captive. "I'm sorry," Judd said, his voice low and rough. "I just...I needed to talk to you about something." Andrew's heart was still racing, but he tried to sound calm. "What is it?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Judd hesitated, his eyes searching Andrew's face. "Can we...can we talk about it later?" he asked, his voice laced with uncertainty. Andrew nodded, still feeling a little shaken. "Yeah, sure. Later sounds good."
