Embarrassing Confessions

Part 85

Osby's laughter slowly died down, and he turned to me with a mischievous grin. "So, do you like me then?" he asked teasingly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. My heart skipped a beat as I realized I had been caught off guard. I started to panic, my mind racing with ways to recover from this situation. But then I took a deep breath and calmed down, a sly smile spreading across my face. "Maybe," I said, trying to sound nonchalant. Osby's face turned bright red as he looked away, his eyes wide with fluster. I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. He was usually so calm and collected, but now he was completely flustered. "Shut up, Vesper," Osby muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. I giggled, feeling a sense of satisfaction at having gotten a rise out of him. "I got you embarrassed, huh?" I said teasingly, my eyes gleaming with amusement. Osby just looked away, his face still red with embarrassment. I laughed again, feeling a sense of joy at having been able to fluster him. I leaned back against the headboard, watching him with a playful grin. The TV continued to play in the background, but I was no longer paying attention to it. All my focus was on Osby, and the way he was still trying to play it cool despite his obvious embarrassment. I decided to let him off the hook for now, but I knew this wasn't the last of this conversation. As we sat there in comfortable silence, I couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness to Osby. We had been through so much together, and now it seemed like we were entering a new phase in our relationship. One where we could tease each other and be playful, without fear of judgment or rejection. I glanced over at Osby, who was still looking away. I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of excitement at what the future might hold for us.
