The Moment of Truth

The room was silent, with all eyes on Ochaco as she hesitated, her face still bright red. She looked around at the group, her eyes darting from one person to another, before finally coming to rest on me. I felt a flutter in my chest as she smiled shyly and took a step forward. But just as it seemed like she was about to make her choice, Ochaco's eyes landed on Shinso, and she froze. I could see the wheels turning in her head, and I wondered what she was thinking. Would she choose me, or would she choose Shinso? The tension in the room was palpable, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. Mina, sensing the drama unfolding, was grinning from ear to ear, while Deku and Bakugo were looking on with interest. Shinso, on the other hand, seemed completely calm, a small smile playing on his lips. He was leaning against the couch, his eyes fixed on Ochaco, and I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Ochaco made her decision. She took a deep breath, and then her eyes landed on... Shinso. I felt a pang of disappointment, but I quickly pushed it aside, smiling at Ochaco and Shinso. Shinso's smile grew wider as Ochaco approached him, and he stood up, his eyes never leaving hers. The two of them stood there for a moment, frozen in time, and then Shinso leaned in, his lips brushing against Ochaco's. The room erupted into cheers and applause, and I couldn't help but laugh along with the others. I felt a little left out, but I was happy for Ochaco and Shinso, and I knew that they would make a great couple. As the group continued to celebrate, Mina grabbed my arm and pulled me aside. "Don't worry, don't worry," she whispered, grinning at me. "You'll get your turn soon enough." I rolled my eyes, laughing, and playfully pushed her away. But deep down, I was happy for my friends, and I knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
