**Beyond the Walls of Despair**
Part 1
The sun was setting over the desolate landscape, casting a golden glow over the barren wasteland that stretched out before us. As a member of the Survey Corps, I was no stranger to the dangers that lurked outside the safety of the walls. But today was different. Today, I was on an expedition with Hange, my girlfriend and squad leader, and I could sense a sense of unease in the air. As a half-human, half-titan hybrid, I possessed certain... advantages that made me a valuable asset to the Survey Corps. My sharp titan teeth, similar to those of a tiger, and my powerful claws, like those of a lion, made me a formidable opponent in close combat. But it was my relationship with Hange that made this expedition truly special. We had been together for a while now, and I had grown to love her quirky personality and unwavering dedication to her work. As we walked, I couldn't help but steal glances at her, admiring the way her eyes sparkled with excitement as she scanned the horizon for signs of titan activity. But as the sun began to dip lower in the sky, I started to feel a strange sensation in my chest. At first, I thought it was just fatigue or stress, but as the feeling grew stronger, I realized with a jolt of fear that something was seriously wrong. My heart was beating hard and fast, and it was beating poorly, like it was struggling to pump blood through my veins. I felt tightness in my chest, and my breathing grew shallow and labored. "Hange," I gasped, trying to keep my voice steady. She turned to me immediately, concern etched on her face. "What's wrong, my love?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle. I tried to speak, but my words were lost in a fit of coughing. Hange's eyes widened as she took in my distress, and she quickly wrapped her strong arms around my body, holding me close. "Please, please, my love, please don't die on me," she whispered, her voice trembling with fear. I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me, and I knew I was on the verge of losing consciousness. But as I looked up at Hange, I saw a titan emerging in the distance, its eyes fixed on us with a malevolent glare. With a surge of adrenaline, I gently wrapped my arms around my swollen belly, protecting the precious life growing inside me. I growled at the titan, a low rumble that vibrated through my chest. Hange's eyes flicked to the titan, and she readied herself for battle. "Use your steam acid!" she shouted. I obliged, unleashing a stream of scorching hot steam that was laced with a corrosive acid. The titan let out a deafening screech as it stumbled backward, its skin melting away in a matter of seconds. But as I stood there, panting and weak, I realized that using my steam acid had come at a terrible cost. My heart was straining, weakened by the exertion, and I was struggling to breathe properly. My chest felt like it was going to burst, and my vision began to blur. Hange's eyes widened as she took in my condition, and she quickly wrapped her arms around me, holding me close. "We need to get you out of here, now," she said, her voice firm and decisive. As she lifted me into her arms, I caught a glimpse of my own reflection in a nearby pool of water. My eyes widened in shock as I saw that my belly was swollen, my body changed in ways I had not noticed before. Hange's eyes met mine, and I saw a spark of realization there. "You're pregnant," she whispered, her voice full of wonder. I nodded, still trying to process the news myself. And as Hange held me close, I knew that our lives were about to change in ways we never could have imagined.
