As they slowly drifted off to sleep, Dan's eyes fluttered open, and he gazed at Emma's peaceful face. He couldn't help but smile, remembering the excitement of their game of truth or dare. Emma's eyes began to stir, and she opened them, locking onto Dan's. "Hey," she whispered, her voice husky from sleep. "Hey," Dan replied, his voice low and smooth. Emma's eyes widened, and she gasped. She looked around the room, as if checking to see if anyone was watching, and then her gaze locked onto Dan's. For a moment, she just stared, her expression unreadable. Dan could see the hesitation in her eyes, but he also saw a spark of excitement. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to," he said, trying to sound casual. But Emma's face began to flush, and she nodded. "I'll do it." Dan watched, his heart racing with excitement, as Emma slowly got out of bed and stood up. She took a deep breath, and then, with a look of determination on her face, she let go.
