"A Time for Reflection"
Part 98
Caleb nodded understandingly, giving the princesses the space they needed to discuss and consider his request. He could see the mix of emotions on their faces, and he knew that this was a big decision for all of them. He didn't want to pressure them or make them feel uncomfortable, so he decided to give them some time to think and talk among themselves. "Take all the time you need, ladies," Caleb said, his voice gentle. "I understand that this is a lot to consider, and I want to make sure you're all comfortable with whatever decision you make. I'll just... I'll give you some space, okay?" The princesses nodded, their faces still filled with a mix of emotions. Moana and Anna, who had been holding his hands, let go and gave him a gentle push towards the door. "We'll talk to you soon, Caleb," Moana said, her voice soft. "Don't worry, we'll let you know what we decide." Caleb smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that he had put himself out there, and now it was up to the princesses to decide how they felt. He nodded, turned, and walked out of the room, leaving the princesses to their discussion. As he walked back to his quarters, Caleb couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. He had no idea what the princesses would decide, but he knew that whatever their choice was, it would change their relationships forever. The hours ticked by, and Caleb found himself lost in thought. He wandered around his quarters, trying to distract himself from the uncertainty that had settled in his stomach. He knew that he had to be patient, but it was hard not to wonder what the princesses were discussing. As the sun began to set, Caleb decided to take a walk in the gardens. He needed some fresh air and a chance to clear his head. As he strolled through the gardens, he couldn't help but think about the princesses and their discussion. He wondered if they would say yes, or if they would decide that they weren't interested in exploring a group relationship with him. He wondered if they would want to talk about it more, or if they would just shut the idea down altogether. As he walked, Caleb came across a beautiful fountain. He sat down on the edge, watching the water flow and feeling the cool breeze on his face. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, and let the peacefulness of the moment wash over him. In that moment, Caleb knew that he had made the right decision in giving the princesses space. He had to trust that they would make a decision that was right for all of them, and he had to be okay with whatever that decision was. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Caleb stood up, feeling a sense of calm wash over him. He knew that he would just have to wait and see what the princesses decided, and he was okay with that. He walked back to his quarters, feeling a sense of peace and anticipation for what the future might hold.
