**Chapter 3: Fractured Trust**

Part 3

The air was heavy with unspoken threats as Aria's eyes burned with a fierce intensity, her grip on Hanabi's wrist still like a vice. Hanabi's eyes darted back and forth, searching for an escape, but Aria's hold was unyielding. Aria's face was inches from Hanabi's, her hot breath washing over Hanabi's skin as she spat, "You have no right to question my love for them. You have no right to think that I would hurt them on purpose." Hanabi's voice was barely above a whisper, but it was laced with defiance. "I'm just saying what we all think, Aria. You've been getting worse and worse, and we're all scared of you." Aria's response was immediate and violent. She yanked Hanabi off the bed and slammed her against the wall, her hand around Hanabi's throat. Hanabi's eyes widened as Aria's fingers tightened, cutting off her air. For a moment, it seemed like Aria might actually harm her, but then her grip relaxed, and she shoved Hanabi back against the wall, her chest heaving with anger. Hanabi gasped for air, her eyes streaming with tears as she stared up at Aria. "You're...you're really scared, aren't you?" she stammered. Aria's face contorted in rage. "You think you're scared? You think you know what fear is?" Without warning, Aria reached out and grabbed Hanabi, pulling her back onto the bed. Hanabi struggled and kicked, but Aria was too strong. She pinned Hanabi down, her body weight pressing Hanabi into the mattress. Hanabi's eyes went wide as Aria's face loomed over hers, her eyes blazing with a fierce and unnatural hunger. Aria's mouth crushed Hanabi's, stealing her breath and her will to resist. As the moments ticked by, Hanabi's struggles grew weaker, her body going limp beneath Aria's. The sound of her own ragged breathing was the only thing she could hear, as her mind recoiled in horror from what was happening. The world around her melted away, leaving only the two of them, locked in a moment of brutal intimacy. Aria's body moved against hers, a violent and dominating presence that left Hanabi shattered and helpless. When it was over, Aria lay still, her chest heaving with exertion. Hanabi was frozen beneath her, her eyes wide with shock and pain. The room was silent, except for the sound of their ragged breathing. Aria's gaze slowly focused on Hanabi's face, and for a moment, she just stared, her expression unreadable. Then, she pushed herself off Hanabi and sat up, her back to her. The distance between them seemed to grow, as if the very air was charged with an unspoken hostility. Hanabi's tears began to fall, silent and unchecked, as she stared up at Aria's unyielding back.
