**The Stormy Night**

Part 1

The sky was a deep, foreboding grey, with clouds that seemed to swirl and twist in every direction. Dorothy Gale, a young girl with a wild mane of curly brown hair, was busy helping her Aunt Em with the evening chores on their farm in Kansas. Her dog, Toto, a small black terrier with a big personality, was by her side as she fed the chickens and collected eggs from the coop. As the sun began to set, a loud siren pierced the air, and Aunt Em rushed out of the farmhouse, a look of concern etched on her face. "Dorothy, quick! We have a tornado warning! We need to get to the storm cellar, now!" Dorothy didn't hesitate. She grabbed Toto and followed her aunt to the cellar, a small underground room with stone walls and a metal door. The storm was intensifying, and the winds were picking up, causing the trees to creak and sway. As they huddled together in the cellar, the storm raged on outside, the sound of thunder booming and lightning flashing through the small windows. Dorothy was scared, but Aunt Em's calm presence reassured her. Just as they were starting to feel safe, a loud roar shook the ground, and the house creaked and groaned. The next thing Dorothy knew, the house was being lifted off the ground, and she was being swept away. She felt weightless, her stomach lurching as the house was tossed about like a toy. Toto yelped in fear, and Dorothy clung to him tightly, her eyes closed in terror. The storm raged on, but Dorothy felt a sense of disconnection, as if she was floating above it all. She had no idea where they were going or what was happening. All she knew was that she was scared, and she just wanted it to stop. But it didn't stop. The house continued to soar through the air, until finally, it came crashing down, landing with a thud on a soft, grassy surface. Dorothy opened her eyes to find herself in a strange, unfamiliar place. She looked around, taking in the colorful flowers, the towering trees, and the sparkling streams. Toto, still clinging to her, looked up at her with big, curious eyes. "Where are we?" Dorothy whispered, her voice shaking with wonder. She had no idea that she was in the magical land of Oz, and that her adventures were only just beginning.
