## Chapter 6: The Royal Family's Ugly Sons

Part 6

The warm glow of the sun had long since faded, casting a dark and foreboding shadow over the kingdom of the Southern Isles. Iduna, still reeling from the news of Agnarr's passing, sat in the throne room, her mind consumed by thoughts of the kingdom and its rulers. King Westergaard, sensing her unease, leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers. "Your Majesty, I must tell you more about the royal family," he said, his voice low and serious. "King Hans' family has a... complicated history. He has twelve sons, all of whom are spoiled and entitled. They have been known to use their power and influence to exploit and oppress the people of the Southern Isles." Iduna's eyes widened in shock. "Twelve sons?" she repeated. "What are their names?" King Westergaard hesitated, as if choosing his words carefully. "The eldest is Crown Prince Caleb, followed by Rudi, Runo, and then there are eight more: Henrik, Axel, Erik, Lars, and four others. Each of them has a reputation for being cruel and heartless." Iduna's thoughts turned to her daughters, Elsa and Anna. She couldn't imagine what they would think if they knew about the cruel sons of King Hans. She felt a surge of determination, knowing that she had to protect her daughters and the people of Arendelle from such a toxic family. As she sat in the throne room, Iduna couldn't help but wonder what kind of upbringing could lead to such behavior in children. She imagined the sons of King Hans as spoiled and entitled, using their power to bully and intimidate those around them. The door to the throne room burst open, and a guard entered, bowing low. "Your Majesty, I have been instructed to bring you information about the royal family," he said. "It seems that Crown Prince Caleb and his brothers, Rudi and Runo, have been causing quite a stir in the kingdom." Iduna's eyes narrowed. "What kind of stir?" she asked. The guard hesitated. "They have been using their power to tax the people heavily, and those who cannot pay are punished severely. The people are suffering, Your Majesty." Iduna's heart sank. She had suspected that the royal family was cruel, but she had not imagined the extent of their cruelty. She felt a surge of anger and determination, knowing that she had to act to protect the people of the Southern Isles. As the guard left, Iduna couldn't shake the feeling that she was about to face a great challenge. She knew that she had to tread carefully, but she was determined to uncover the truth and bring justice to the people of the Southern Isles. The hours passed, and Iduna found herself in the castle gardens, walking among the flowers and trees. She was lost in thought, her mind consumed by the information she had received about the royal family. Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her. She turned to see a young man, tall and lean, with a look of despair on his face. "Your Majesty," he said, bowing low. "I am Hans, the youngest son of King Hans." Iduna's eyes widened in surprise. "The youngest son?" she repeated. Hans nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty. And I am afraid that I am not like my brothers. I... I am different." Iduna's heart went out to the young man. She could see the pain and fear in his eyes, and she knew that he was not like his brothers. She smiled, trying to reassure him. "Tell me, Hans," she said. "What do you mean by 'different'?" Hans hesitated, looking around nervously. "My brothers are cruel and heartless, Your Majesty. They use their power to exploit and oppress the people. But I... I want to help the people. I want to make a difference." Iduna's eyes narrowed. She could see the sincerity in Hans' eyes, and she knew that he was telling the truth. She felt a surge of hope, knowing that there was at least one member of the royal family who was willing to act to protect the people. As she looked at Hans, Iduna couldn't help but think of her daughters, Elsa and Anna. She knew that she had to protect them from the cruel sons of King Hans, but she also saw an opportunity to help Hans become a better person. "I want to help you, Hans," she said. "But you must be careful. Your brothers will not give up their power easily." Hans nodded, a look of determination on his face. "I am willing to take that risk, Your Majesty. I want to make a difference." Iduna smiled, feeling a sense of hope for the future. She knew that she had a long road ahead of her, but she was determined to bring justice to the people of the Southern Isles and to help Hans become a better person.
