"Morning Mayhem"

Part 3

The teasing continued, with Blake playfully tossing a napkin at Weiss, who dodged it with a laugh. "Come on, Weiss, spill the beans," Blake said, grinning. "Who's the lucky person you're trying to impress?" Weiss rolled her eyes, but a smile still played on her lips. "I'm not telling," she said, her voice firm but her eyes sparkling with amusement. Yang leaned back in her chair, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I bet it's someone on the team," she said, her voice dripping with speculation. "Maybe Ruby's got some competition." Ruby's eyes widened in mock horror. "No way! I'm the center of attention around here." Weiss chuckled, shaking her head. "You're both ridiculous. It's not someone on the team, okay?" Blake raised an eyebrow. "So, it's someone outside of the team. Hmm, that's a tough one. Is it someone from Atlas?" Weiss's expression turned coy again, and she glanced away, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Maybe," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Yang's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ooh, is it someone from the Schnee Manor? Maybe a certain someone with a dashing smile and a charming personality?" Weiss's eyes snapped back to Yang, a warning look flashing across her face. "Yang, stop," she said, her voice firm. Ruby leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Wait, Yang, you're onto something. Is it someone from the Schnee Manor? Weiss, tell us." Weiss sighed, throwing up her hands in defeat. "Fine. If you must know, I ran into someone yesterday and...and I thought they were kind of interesting, okay?" The room fell silent, with Blake, Yang, and Ruby exchanging excited glances. "Who is it?" Blake asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Weiss's expression turned stubborn. "I'm not telling. At least, not yet." The team erupted into a chorus of groans and teasing, with Yang and Blake playfully trying to pry more information out of Weiss. Ruby, however, simply smiled, her eyes sparkling with understanding. "I think I know why Weiss is doing this," Ruby said, her voice thoughtful. "She's trying to get out of her comfort zone, to be more...spontaneous." The room fell silent, with Weiss, Blake, and Yang turning to Ruby in surprise. Weiss's expression turned thoughtful, and she nodded slowly. "Ruby's right," Weiss said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. And I think I'm starting to like it." The team smiled, happy to see Weiss taking a step in a new direction. And as they continued to chat and tease each other, it was clear that morning mayhem had only just begun.
