"Entrapped"
Part 7
The words hung in the air like a challenge, and Sophia felt her heart racing with a mix of excitement and fear. She tried to process what had just happened, but her mind was still reeling from the intensity of their encounter. Julian's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, as if daring her to defy him. Sophia took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, but her voice came out shaky. "What just happened?" she asked, trying to keep her tone light. Julian's gaze never wavered. "I protected you," he said, his voice low and husky. "I won't let anyone come between us." Sophia felt a surge of defensiveness. "You can't just hang up on my best friend," she said, trying to sound firm. Julian shrugged. "I can do whatever I want," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "And right now, what I want is you." Sophia felt a shiver run down her spine as he reached out and pulled her into his arms. She tried to push him away, but he held her tight, his lips brushing against her ear. "Don't fight this, Sophia," he whispered. "You're mine now. And I won't let you go." Sophia felt a wave of panic wash over her. She didn't know what she had gotten herself into, but she knew she needed to get out of there, fast. She tried to push him away again, but Julian's grip only tightened. Just as she thought she was going to lose her breath, Julian's phone rang, shrill and insistent. He hesitated for a moment before answering it, his eyes never leaving Sophia's face. "Yes?" he said, his voice curt. Sophia watched as his expression changed from possessive to concerned. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice tight with tension. She couldn't hear the voice on the other end of the line, but she could sense the urgency emanating from Julian's body. "I'll be right there," he said finally, hanging up the phone and turning to Sophia. "I have to go," he said, his eyes burning with intensity. "But don't think for a second that this changes anything between us." Sophia felt a surge of relief wash over her. Maybe this was her chance to escape, to get out of this situation before it was too late. But as she looked into Julian's eyes, she saw something there that made her heart skip a beat. Whatever was happening, Julian was not going to let her go without a fight. And Sophia wasn't sure if she was ready for that.
