Chapter 2: The Video Shoot

The group decided to start filming a video for their YouTube channel, showcasing the penthouse and its features. They gathered in the living room, surrounded by marble flooring and stunning views of the city. Ray, still excited from their arrival, bounced up and down on the couch, his brown eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Okay, guys, let's get started!" Kai exclaimed, his voice high-pitched with excitement. "We want to show off this amazing penthouse and all its features." The camera crew, consisting of a few familiar faces, nodded and began to set up their equipment. Duke, with his deep, smooth voice, took charge of directing the camera angles, while Agent helped to set up the lighting. As they began to film, Ray's personality shone through. He was a lively ball of chaos, bouncing from one room to the next, exclaiming over the luxurious decor and stunning views. The others couldn't help but laugh at his antics, and even Kai couldn't help but crack a smile. "Woah, this kitchen is huge!" Ray exclaimed, his thick Asian accent thick with excitement. "And look, they have a movie theater!" Fanum chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes. "Ray, you're going to wear out your welcome if you keep bouncing around like that." Ray grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Sorry, sorry! I just get so excited!" As they continued to film, Kai kept a close eye on Ray, making sure he was comfortable and having a good time. The others noticed and exchanged curious glances, but they didn't say anything. After a few hours of filming, they decided to take a break and grab some lunch. As they sat down in the dining room, Kai turned to Ray and said, "Hey, you're doing great. I'm glad you're having fun." Ray beamed with pride, his face lighting up with a smile. "Thanks, Kai! This is the best day ever!" The others smiled and nodded in agreement, happy to see Ray so carefree. As they ate and chatted, Kai couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness towards Ray. He knew that Ray was a bit of a wild card, but he also knew that he would do anything to keep him safe. As they finished lunch and continued filming, Kai's behavior became more noticeable. He kept a close eye on Ray, making sure he was okay and intervening whenever he thought Ray might get into trouble. The others started to comment on Kai's behavior, but he just brushed it off. "I'm just looking out for him, that's all," he said, his voice a little defensive. But as the day went on, it became clear that Kai's behavior was more than just friendly concern. As they finished filming and wrapped up for the day, Kai turned to Ray and said, "Hey, let's get you settled in. You can stay with me, okay?" Ray looked at him uncertainly, but Kai just smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, it'll be fine. We'll make sure you have everything you need." The others exchanged a curious glance, but no one said anything. They all knew that Kai was a bit of a control freak, but they also knew that he would never do anything to hurt Ray.
