**Chapter 1: An Unlikely Arrangement**

Part 1

The sun had barely risen over the bustling streets of Seoul, casting a warm glow over the city. In a luxurious office nestled in the heart of the financial district, a meeting was taking place that would change the lives of two young men forever. Bang Chan, the heir to the powerful and feared mafia family, the Chan Corporation, sat across from Hyunjin, a former college boxer turned part-time bartender. The tension between them was palpable. Bangchan's father, the ruthless and cunning patriarch of the Chan Corporation, Mr. Chan, leaned back in his plush leather chair, a sly smile spreading across his face. "So, Hyunjin, I hear you've been having a hard time paying off your parents' debt," he said, his voice dripping with malice. Hyunjin shifted uncomfortably in his seat, his broad shoulders squaring as he met Mr. Chan's gaze. "Yeah, we're working on it. My parents will pay it back, I promise." Mr. Chan chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "I'm afraid that's not good enough, Hyunjin. Your parents have been dodging my collection agents for months. It's time to make a deal." Hyunjin's eyes narrowed, sensing where this was going. "What kind of deal?" Mr. Chan leaned forward, his eyes glinting with excitement. "I'll wipe the slate clean, no questions asked, if you agree to become Bangchan's personal bodyguard." Hyunjin's jaw dropped. "Me? A bodyguard? What makes you think I'm qualified for that?" Bangchan, who had been quiet until now, spoke up, his voice smooth as silk. "I've been watching you, Hyunjin. You've got skills, and I need someone I can trust to keep me safe. My father thinks you're the perfect candidate for the job." Hyunjin's eyes flicked to Bangchan, who was watching him with an intense gaze. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized the true nature of this proposal. He was being strong-armed into becoming a bodyguard for the mafia heir. "I don't know, Mr. Chan," Hyunjin said, trying to stall for time. "I'm not exactly... mafia material." Mr. Chan's smile turned sinister. "You don't have a choice, Hyunjin. You want your parents' debt erased? This is the price. You'll do this job, and you'll do it well. Or... let's just say, your parents will be singing a different tune." Hyunjin felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead as he weighed his options. He glanced at Bangchan, who was watching him with an unreadable expression. He had a feeling his life was about to take a drastic turn. As Hyunjin sat there, he couldn't help but wonder what he had gotten himself into. He thought about his parents, and how they would react if he didn't take this job. He thought about Bangchan, and what kind of person he was. And he thought about himself, and what he was capable of. The room fell silent, with only the sound of Hyunjin's racing heart breaking the stillness. He knew he had to make a decision, and fast. But what would it be? What would you like to happen next?
