**Chapter 1: The Unlikely Encounter**
Part 1
The sun was setting over the walls of Paradis Island, casting a golden glow over the bustling streets of Shiganshina. The sound of merchants hawking their wares and the clanging of hammers on metal filled the air, a cacophony that was both familiar and comforting. I, Kenzy, had just finished a long day of training with the Scout Regiment and was making my way back to my lodgings, my feet aching and my muscles sore. As I walked, I couldn't help but think about the rumors that had been circulating about a new recruit who was rumored to be joining our ranks. They said he was a skilled fighter, one who had single-handedly taken down a group of Titans with ease. I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I was eager to meet him and see if the stories were true. As I turned a corner, I noticed a figure standing by the wall, watching me with an intensity that made me shiver. He was tall and lean, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore into my soul. His hair was jet black and styled in a messy, spiky fashion that only added to his rugged good looks. "Can I help you?" I asked, trying to sound braver than I felt. The stranger didn't respond, at least not immediately. Instead, he simply continued to stare at me, his eyes narrowing as if sizing me up. I began to feel a little uncomfortable, wondering if I had somehow offended him. Just as I was about to turn and walk away, he spoke up, his voice low and smooth. "You're Kenzy, aren't you?" he asked, his eyes still fixed on mine. I nodded, surprised that he knew my name. "How did you...?" "Levi Ackerman, at your service," he said, with a slight bow. "I've heard a lot about you, Kenzy. You're quite the legend among the Scout Regiment." I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as I shook my head, trying to play it cool. "I'm no legend," I protested. "Just a soldier trying to do my part." Levi chuckled, a low, husky sound that sent shivers down my spine. "Don't be modest, Kenzy," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I've seen your file. You're one of the most promising recruits I've seen in a long time." I felt a surge of pride at his words, but before I could respond, a loud shout echoed through the streets, followed by the sound of gunfire and screams. " Titans!" someone yelled. "There are Titans outside the walls!" My heart racing, I turned to Levi, expecting him to spring into action. But to my surprise, he simply smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "Looks like our conversation will have to wait," he said, his eyes glinting with excitement. "It's time for us to get to work." And with that, he turned and sprinted off towards the walls, leaving me to follow in his wake. I had a feeling that my life was about to change in ways I couldn't even imagine.
