**Chapter 5: Coop's True Intentions**

Part 5

As Emily waited for Coop to arrive, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was in trouble. She had agreed to let him come up to her dorm room, and now she was wondering if that was a mistake. She tried to distract herself by doing some work, but her mind kept wandering back to Coop and the text messages that had been blowing up her phone all morning. There was a knock at the door, and Emily's heart skipped a beat. She got up to answer it, trying to calm her nerves. When she opened the door, Coop was standing there with a charming smile on his face. He was wearing a pair of dark jeans and a white button-down shirt, and he looked every bit the confident and charismatic professor that he was. "Hey, beautiful," he said, his eyes locking onto hers. "Thanks for letting me come up." Emily tried to smile back at him, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. "Hey," she said, stepping aside to let him in. As Coop walked into her dorm room, Emily couldn't help but notice the way he looked around. He seemed to be taking in every detail, from the messy bed to the stack of books on her desk. It was like he was trying to get a sense of who she was, and what she was like. "So, I wanted to talk to you about last night," Coop said, turning to face her. "I know it was a lot to take in, but I wanted to make sure you're okay." Emily nodded, feeling a little more at ease. "I'm fine," she said. "Thanks for checking in." Coop nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "I have to say, I was really attracted to you last night," he said, his voice low and smooth. "And I was wondering if you'd like to grab dinner with me tonight." Emily felt a surge of surprise. She hadn't expected Coop to ask her out, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for that. "I don't know," she said, trying to stall for time. But Coop was persistent. "Come on, it'll be fun," he said, his smile charming. "And I promise, no pressure. I just want to get to know you better." Emily hesitated, feeling torn. Part of her wanted to say yes, to see where things might go with Coop. But another part of her was warning her to be careful, to remember that he was her professor, and that this was a bad idea. As she stood there, Coop's eyes locked onto hers, and Emily felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew that she was in trouble, that she was playing with fire. But she couldn't help herself, she was drawn to him, and she wanted to see where things might go. "Okay, fine," she said finally, trying to sound casual. "But just dinner, and no pressure, okay?" Coop grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I promise," he said. "No pressure. But I do have to say, I'm really interested in you, Emily. And I'm not just talking about physically." Emily felt a surge of alarm. What did Coop mean by that? Was he interested in her in a romantic way, or was he just trying to get her to sleep with him again? As she stood there, Coop's eyes locked onto hers, and Emily knew that she was in trouble. She was getting in over her head, and she didn't know how to get out. But Coop just smiled, his eyes glinting with something that looked almost like possessiveness. "I'll pick you up at 7," he said, turning to leave. "And Emily?" "Yeah?" "I don't want you to see anyone else, okay? I know we just met, but I feel like there's something between us. And I don't want to share you with anyone else." Emily's eyes widened in shock. What was Coop talking about? Did he really think that she was going to start dating him, and only him? As the door closed behind him, Emily felt a chill run down her spine. She knew that she was in trouble, and she didn't know how to get out. Coop's true intentions were starting to reveal themselves, and Emily didn't like what she saw.
