Chapter 30: The Unexpected Interruption
Part 30
The humming noise grew louder, and suddenly, a menacing spaceship descended from the sky, casting a shadow over the serene lake. The swans took flight, squawking in alarm as the ship landed with a thud on the shore. The air was electric with tension as a sinister laugh echoed through the air. "Ah, Princess Daisy and her little friends," a voice sneered. "What a lovely gathering. How... quaint." The group turned to see Tatanga, his eyes gleaming with malice, standing on the shore of the lake. He was flanked by his robotic minions, their metal bodies glinting in the sunlight. The once peaceful atmosphere was now replaced with a sense of urgency and danger. Tatanga's laughter sent a shiver down Daisy's spine, but Mario, Luigi, and Peach stood tall, ready to defend their host and the land they had grown to love. Toad, not to be outdone, stood proudly beside them, his mushroom cap quivering with determination. "It's-a Tatanga!" Mario exclaimed, his voice firm. "We won't let you ruin our day, Tatanga! You're not welcome here!" Tatanga sneered, his face twisting in contempt. "You think you can stop me, plumbers? I've taken over Sarasaland before, and I'll do it again. You'll never be able to defeat me!" Without hesitation, Mario and Luigi sprang into action, rushing towards Tatanga with a fierce determination. "It's-a time to put a stop to your evil plans, Tatanga!" Luigi shouted, cracking his knuckles in preparation. Peach stood tall, her parasol at the ready. "We'll defend Sarasaland, no matter what!" she declared, her voice steady. Toad, not wanting to be left out, charged forward, his tiny fists waving in the air. "Toad to the rescue!" he shouted, his voice echoing across the lake. Daisy watched, her heart pounding in her chest, as her friends prepared to face Tatanga. She knew they were brave, but she also knew that Tatanga was a formidable foe. The battle was about to begin, and only time would tell who would emerge victorious.
