**The Unseen Past of a Hashira**
Part 1
The sun had just begun to set, casting a warm orange glow over the Demon Slayer Corps' headquarters. The nine Hashiras, all dressed in their formal attire, gathered in the main hall, their eyes fixed on the figure standing before them. Their leader, the enigmatic and powerful Master Ubuyashiki, stood tall, surveying the group. Mitsuri, the young and vibrant Hashira, couldn't help but fidget with excitement, her bright pink hair fluttering with each movement. Kocho, the gentle and caring Hashira, placed a reassuring hand on Mitsuri's shoulder, her eyes warm with understanding. Tomioka, the stoic and serious Water Hashira, stood rigidly, his piercing gaze fixed on Master Ubuyashiki. Sanemi, the hot-headed and rough-around-the-edges Wind Hashira, grumbled under his breath, his eyes scanning the room with a mixture of boredom and disinterest. Iguro, the sleek and agile Serpent Hashira, stretched languidly, her eyes gleaming with a quiet intensity. Rengoku, the charismatic and confident Flame Hashira, smiled broadly, his bright orange hair aflame with an inner light. Gyomei, the blind yet powerful Stone Hashira, stood tall, his eyes closed, his face serene. Uzui, the flamboyant and boisterous Sound Hashira, adjusted his bright green hair, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Muichiro, the young and soft-spoken Mist Hashira, looked around nervously, his eyes wide with a mixture of awe and intimidation. As Master Ubuyashiki began to speak, the Hashiras knelt down in unison, their heads bowed in respect. "I have called you all here today to discuss a matter of great importance," he said, his voice low and serious. "A letter has been received from the parents of Giyu Tomioka, requesting his return." The Hashiras exchanged surprised glances, their faces reflecting their shock and confusion. Mitsuri spoke up, her voice trembling slightly, "But, Master, why would they want him back? Giyu is a Hashira, a valuable member of our Corps." Master Ubuyashiki's expression turned somber, his eyes clouding over with concern. "It seems that Giyu's parents have suddenly remembered their son and wish to reclaim him. They claim that, as he is still under the age of 18, they have the legal right to take him back." Kocho's voice was filled with worry, "But, Master, what about Giyu's well-being? We care about him deeply, and we can't just send him back to his parents without knowing what will happen to him." Tomioka's face remained stoic, but his eyes betrayed a deep-seated concern. Sanemi snorted, "What's the big deal? It's just a couple wanting their kid back. Let them have him." Iguro's voice was laced with skepticism, "But, Sanemi, we don't know the circumstances. What if Giyu's parents are...not good people?" Rengoku's smile faltered, and he looked at Master Ubuyashiki with a concerned expression. "Master, what do you think? Should we let Giyu go back to his parents?" Gyomei's eyes remained closed, but his voice was filled with a deep understanding, "We must consider Giyu's feelings, as well as his past. Perhaps there is more to this story than we know." Uzui spoke up, his voice boisterous as always, "Yeah, and what's with this letter, anyway? Just a simple 'give him back, he's ours'?" He looked around, puzzled. "No explanation, no apology...nothing." Muichiro looked up at Master Ubuyashiki, his eyes wide with worry, "Master, what will happen to Giyu if he goes back to his parents?" Master Ubuyashiki's expression remained somber, his eyes fixed on the Hashiras. "That, my friends, is a question we must all consider. For Giyu's sake, and for the sake of our Corps." As the Hashiras began to murmur among themselves, discussing the implications of Giyu's parents' request, a small piece of paper on Master Ubuyashiki's desk caught the eye of Tomioka. It was the letter from Giyu's parents, simple and to the point: "Give him back. He is ours. We have legal rights." Tomioka's eyes narrowed, his face set in a determined expression. He knew the truth about Giyu's past, a secret that only he and Master Ubuyashiki shared. And he knew that if Giyu were to return to his parents, the consequences would be dire.
