"The Stranger's Proposal"

Part 3

The air was thick with tension as the three of them stood there, the city lights twinkling like diamonds below them. Katsuki's mind was racing with possibilities, his instincts screaming at him to be cautious. He glanced at Izuku, who was watching him with a determined expression. "So, what is it that you want to offer me?" Katsuki asked, his voice low and even. The stranger smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, Katsuki, you are a cautious one, aren't you? I like that. It makes things more... interesting." He paused, his gaze flicking to Izuku before returning to Katsuki. "You see, I have information about your past, about the circumstances surrounding your... transformation. I know who turned you, and why." Katsuki's heart skipped a beat as he felt a surge of adrenaline course through his veins. How did this stranger know? He had been so careful, so meticulous in covering his tracks. The stranger took a step closer, his eyes locked on Katsuki's. "But that's not all. I also have information about your... condition. About the limitations that come with being a vampire, and the ways to overcome them." Izuku's eyes narrowed, his face set in a determined expression. "What do you mean?" he demanded. The stranger smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Let's just say that I have knowledge of certain... weaknesses. Weaknesses that could be exploited by those who know how to use them." Katsuki's eyes locked on the stranger, his mind racing with possibilities. What did he mean? And what kind of information did he have? The stranger took another step closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I can help you, Katsuki. I can help you overcome your limitations, and live a life free from the shadows." Izuku's eyes flashed with anger. "What do you want in return?" he demanded. The stranger smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I think we can come to some sort of arrangement. You see, I have a certain... project in mind, one that requires someone with your... unique abilities." Katsuki's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. What kind of project could this stranger possibly have in mind? And what did he want from him? The stranger took another step closer, his eyes locked on Katsuki's. "So, what do you say, Katsuki? Are you interested in hearing more?" Katsuki glanced at Izuku, who was watching him with a concerned expression. He nodded, and the stranger smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Excellent," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Let's discuss the details, shall we?" As the stranger turned to lead them away, Katsuki felt a sense of unease wash over him. What was he getting himself into? And what would be the cost? Only time would tell.
