New Transfer Student

Part 1

The students of Class 1-A were bustling about, chatting and laughing as they waited for their new classmate to arrive. Hitoshi Shinso, a transfer student from General Studies, stood nervously outside the classroom, fidgeting with his hands. He took a deep breath, smoothing out his uniform before pushing open the door. As he entered, the class fell silent, their eyes fixed on him. Hitoshi's face flushed with embarrassment as he scanned the room, taking in the unfamiliar faces. Aizawa-sensei, their teacher, stood at the front of the classroom, a hint of a smile on his face. "Ah, Shinso-kun, welcome to Class 1-A," Aizawa-sensei said, his voice warm. "Please, take a seat." Hitoshi's eyes landed on an empty seat, and he made his way over, trying to avoid eye contact with his new classmates. As he sat down, he noticed a boy with dark brown hair and sapphire blue eyes watching him with interest. The boy had a relaxed demeanor, his eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. Malakai Kagami, the boy with the striking features, was known for his unique sense of style, often wearing earthy tones and baggy clothes. His hair was a mix of a mullet and a wolf cut, resting on his shoulders. He was always listening to music, usually with earbuds or headphones on, but now he was focused on Hitoshi. Malakai's Quirk, Hydrokinesis, allowed him to manipulate water in various ways, making him a formidable opponent in battle. He was smart, talented, and had a passion for music, often playing his guitar in his free time. As the class began, Hitoshi struggled to keep up with the lesson, his eyes darting around the room as he tried to absorb the information. Malakai noticed his struggles and smiled sympathetically, making a mental note to introduce himself properly during recess. During the break, Malakai walked over to Hitoshi, who was sitting alone at a table. "Hey, I'm Malakai Kagami," he said, extending his hand. "Welcome to Class 1-A." Hitoshi took his hand, feeling a spark of electricity as their palms touched. "I'm Hitoshi Shinso," he replied, his voice soft. Malakai's eyes sparkled with interest as he released Hitoshi's hand. "So, Shinso-kun, how's it feel to be in Class 1-A? We're a pretty awesome bunch." Hitoshi smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "It's...different," he said, his eyes scanning the room. "I'm still getting used to it." Malakai chuckled. "I can imagine. We'll make sure to show you around, get you settled in. I'm sure you'll fit right in." As they chatted, Jirou, a girl with a guitar slung over her shoulder, walked over, a smile on her face. "Hey, Malakai! What's going on?" Malakai grinned. "Just introducing our new classmate, Shinso-kun, to the awesomeness that is Class 1-A." Jirou's eyes lit up. "I'm Jirou, by the way. Nice to meet you, Shinso-kun." Hitoshi returned her smile, feeling a sense of gratitude toward Malakai for making an effort to include him. As the three of them talked, he began to feel more comfortable, his initial nervousness dissipating. The rest of the day passed in a blur, with Hitoshi struggling to keep up with the lessons. But with Malakai's help, he managed to grasp the basics, and by the end of the day, he felt a sense of belonging he hadn't expected. As the class dismissed, Malakai clapped Hitoshi on the back. "Don't worry, Shinso-kun, we'll get you up to speed in no time. See you tomorrow!" Hitoshi smiled, feeling a sense of excitement for the days to come. He had a feeling that he was going to like it here in Class 1-A. Hitoshi walked out of the classroom with a newfound sense of hope, his eyes scanning the hallway for a glimpse of his new classmates. He noticed Katsuki, Ochaco, and the others chatting and laughing together, and he felt a pang of longing to be a part of their group. Malakai, sensing his gaze, turned around and smiled, his eyes sparkling with warmth. Hitoshi's heart skipped a beat as he returned the smile, feeling a sense of connection he couldn't quite explain. As they parted ways, Hitoshi couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him in Class 1-A, and what role Malakai Kagami would play in his life.
