"An Unexpected Moment"
Part 65
We stood there for a moment, enjoying the quiet evening and each other's company, the plushie of Hawks still clutched in my arms. I felt a sense of happiness wash over me, and I knew that this was a moment I would treasure for a long time. Kirishima's smile still lingered on his face, and I couldn't help but smile back at him. As we stood there, I noticed our friends starting to appear in the distance, walking towards us. Mina, Ochaco, and Tsu were chatting and laughing together, while Bakugo, Deku, Kaminari, and Todoroki were lagging behind, looking like they were in deep conversation. Osby, still in his shadow form, was by my side, watching the scene unfold. The atmosphere was peaceful, with the sound of chirping crickets and the distant hum of the city providing a soothing background noise. Kirishima and I were lost in our own little world, enjoying each other's company. I felt a sense of comfort and security with him, and I couldn't help but wonder if this was the start of something more. As I pondered this, Kirishima's eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a spark of electricity run through my body. Before I knew what was happening, he leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, gentle kiss. Time seemed to freeze as I was caught off guard. Mina, Ochaco, and Tsu gasped silently, their eyes wide with surprise, as they quickly looked away, trying not to intrude on the moment. Bakugo, Deku, Kaminari, and Todoroki, however, were a different story. They looked on, their faces twisted in a mix of shock and jealousy. Bakugo's eyes narrowed, his fists clenched at his sides. Deku looked like he had been punched in the gut, his eyes wide with surprise. Kaminari just shook his head, a small smile on his face, while Todoroki looked on, his expression unreadable. Osby, still in his shadow form, seemed to grow darker, as if he was absorbing the emotions around him. I could sense his displeasure, his jealousy simmering just below the surface. As for me, I was still trying to process what had just happened. Kirishima's kiss had been unexpected, but it had also been... nice. I felt a flutter in my chest, and I couldn't help but wonder what this meant for our relationship. As we pulled away from each other, Kirishima's face was still flushed, and I couldn't help but smile at him. The world around us seemed to snap back into focus, and we were once again surrounded by our friends, all of whom were trying to pretend they hadn't just witnessed something intimate. The question was, what would happen next?
