Healing and Betrayal

Part 3

The sound of knocking on the door broke the silence in the room, and Young-il immediately got up to answer it. He opened the door, revealing a man in scrubs and another figure clad in a full black hooded outfit with a fully face-covering black mask that had a white square on it. "You can leave now," Young-il spoke through his distorted voice, and the man with the square mask nodded and left, as the doctor stepped in. Young-il closed the door behind the doctor, his eyes fixed intently on him. "Try anything funny and you're dead, do a check-up on him," he demanded in a firm, threatening distorted voice. The doctor was visibly tensed and swallowed before asking, "If you don't mind me asking, sir, what happened to him? It will help me know where to look." Young-il's response was matter-of-fact. "He was beaten and raped." Myung-gi couldn't help but let out a small sob at the memory. The doctor nodded before turning to Myung-gi, his eyes filled with a mixture of pity and professionalism. The doctor began to inspect Myung-gi's body, every inch of it. Myung-gi hated it, feeling a sense of vulnerability wash over him, but he knew he had no choice. The doctor's hands were gentle, but Myung-gi still winced in pain as he probed his broken bones. Once the doctor was done, he explained that Myung-gi had a multitude of broken bones and would need stitches in several places. "Dress his wounds, be careful," Young-il's distorted voice spoke as he peered over the doctor's shoulder and at Myung-gi. The doctor nodded and carefully stitched up any wounds that were too deep, applied casts to some of the broken bones, disinfected every cut, and added ointment to them. Myung-gi gritted his teeth as the doctor tended to his wounds, but the most painful and uncomfortable part was when the doctor had to clean and disinfect his torn and abused hole. It felt gross to have anyone near it, let alone touch it. Once the doctor was done with everything, Young-il spoke, "What will I need to do to ensure everything heals correctly? Write it down on this paper. Include the names of the supplies, whether it's the medicine for his pain or the disinfectant, list every step in detail." The doctor complied, his hands shaking slightly as he wrote. When he was done, Young-il looked over the writing, his eyes scanning the page with a critical gaze. "You may leave now," he said, his voice still distorted. The doctor nodded and swiftly left the room. After a minute, Young-il walked over to the wired phone once more and dialed a number. "Kill the doctor," he said, his voice cold and detached. Myung-gi's eyes widened in shock. Young-il hung up the phone and took off his mask, revealing his face once again. He turned to Myung-gi, taking in the younger's shocked expression. "I couldn't let him live after letting him touch you, even if it was just to help," Young-il spoke, his voice low and husky. Myung-gi was even more shocked, but a strange sense of gratitude and wonder filled him. The possessive reason behind Young-il's actions, killing a man for merely cleaning his wounds, made Myung-gi realize that Young-il must really care for him. But at what cost? And what did it mean for their relationship? Myung-gi's mind was reeling with questions, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of trust and reliance on Young-il, the man who had just killed for him.
