**Chapter 1: The Fateful Voyage**
Part 1
The stormy seas tossed the small ship about like a toy, threatening to capsize it at any moment. Queen Iduna of Arendelle clung to the side of the vessel, her brown hair whipping about her face as she gazed out at the turbulent waves. Her husband, King Agnarr, stood beside her, his eyes fixed on the horizon as he struggled to keep their course. Iduna's thoughts were with their daughters, Elsa and Anna, back in Arendelle. She hoped they were safe and warm, far from the fury of the sea. But she had insisted on making this journey to Ahtohallan, to find the answers she sought about her daughters' powers and her own destiny. The winds howled and the ship creaked, groaning under the strain. Agnarr grasped Iduna's hand, his eyes locked on hers. "We'll ride this out, my love," he shouted above the din of the storm. But it was not to be. A massive wave crashed over the ship, sending Iduna tumbling to the deck. She felt a searing pain in her head and then...nothing. When Iduna came to, she was lying on a sandy beach, her head throbbing and her body battered. She sat up, taking stock of her surroundings. The ship that had carried her and Agnarr to their fate was wrecked on the rocks, its splintered remains strewn about the shore. Iduna stumbled to her feet, calling out for Agnarr. But there was no answer. She stumbled along the beach, searching for any sign of him, but he was gone. Tears streaming down her face, Iduna realized that she was alone. Agnarr was dead, and she was left to fend for herself in a strange and unfamiliar land. As she walked along the shore, Iduna spotted a group of people approaching her. They were dressed in simple but warm clothing, and they regarded her with a mixture of curiosity and concern. One of them, a young woman with a kind face, stepped forward. "Welcome, traveler," she said. "We found you on the beach, half-dead. What is your name?" Iduna hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about the woman's gentle tone put her at ease. "I...I am Iduna," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. The woman nodded. "Come with us, Queen Iduna. We'll take you to our palace, where you can rest and recover." Iduna nodded, grateful for the offer. As she walked with the group, she caught a glimpse of the palace in the distance - a beautiful structure with towers and turrets, surrounded by lush gardens and a tranquil lake. The woman, who introduced herself as Queen Ravena, greeted Iduna warmly and had her taken to a cozy chamber to rest. Iduna collapsed onto the bed, exhausted and grief-stricken. She knew that she had a long and difficult journey ahead of her, but for now, she was grateful for the kindness of strangers. As she drifted off to sleep, Iduna's thoughts turned to Agnarr, and she whispered a silent prayer for his soul. She also thought of Elsa and Anna, and wondered what the future held for them, and for herself. She was unaware that her journey was only just beginning, and that she would soon find herself entangled in the affairs of the Southern Isles, and the complicated lives of its royal family.
