**The Ultimate Betrayal**

Part 7

Erica stormed into Ashley's room, two black bags slung over her shoulder. "Pack your stuff, Ashley, we're getting ready for the social worker," she said, her voice devoid of emotion. Ashley's eyes widened in horror as she stared at the bags. "Why would you do this?" she asked, her voice shaking with tears. Erica's expression didn't change. "I'm not going to let you ruin my life, Ashley. You need help, and this is the only way to get it." Ashley felt a surge of anger and desperation. "I'm not packing anything," she said, throwing the bags back at Erica's feet. "Fuck you," she spat, her eyes blazing with hatred. "I'll never forgive you for this." Erica's face remained impassive, but Ashley could see a hint of satisfaction in her eyes. Ashley's anger boiled over, and she yelled at Erica, her voice echoing through the house. Just as it seemed like things couldn't get any worse, the social worker knocked on the door. Ashley's heart sank, and she felt a wave of panic wash over her. She grabbed Erica's hand, her eyes pleading with her sister. "Please, don't," she begged, her voice shaking with desperation. "I'll do anything, just please don't make me go." But Erica was unmoved. She opened the door, and Ashley felt a cold dread creeping up her spine. As she stood up, her long sleeves fell away, revealing the scars on her arms from self-harm. She quickly grabbed a long hoodie and pulled it over her head, trying to cover up the evidence of her struggles. Erica called out to her, her voice cold and detached. "Ashley, come downstairs. The social worker is waiting." Ashley trudged downstairs, her heart heavy with grief and anger. She felt like she was being led to her own prison, and she couldn't do anything to stop it. As she entered the living room, she saw the social worker sitting on the couch, a sympathetic expression on her face. But Ashley wasn't fooled. She knew that this was the end of her life as she knew it, and she was powerless to stop it. She sat down, her eyes fixed on the floor, and waited for the inevitable.
