**Chapter 6: The Royal Family of the Southern Isles**

Part 6

As Iduna continued to recover, she began to take an interest in the royal family of the Southern Isles. King Westergaard would often visit her, sharing stories and anecdotes about his family. Iduna listened intently, trying to understand the dynamics of the family and their relationships with one another. One day, as King Westergaard was visiting, he mentioned his sons, the princes of the Southern Isles. Iduna's curiosity was piqued, and she asked him to tell her more. King Westergaard smiled, proud of his sons, but Iduna noticed a hint of disappointment in his eyes. "My sons are a lively bunch," he said. "Caleb, the crown prince, is a clever and ambitious young man. He has a keen mind for politics and is well-respected by his brothers and the people of the Southern Isles." Iduna nodded, intrigued by the description. "And what about the other princes?" she asked. King Westergaard's expression turned slightly somber. "Rudi and Runo are...mischievous, to say the least. They often get into trouble, but they are good at heart. Lars, on the other hand, is a quiet and reserved young man. He keeps to himself, but he is kind and gentle." Iduna sensed that there was more to the story, but she didn't press the issue. She wanted to learn more about the princes and their relationships with one another. As she continued to recover, Iduna caught glimpses of the princes as they went about their daily business. She saw Caleb, the crown prince, attending to his duties, and Rudi and Runo, horsing around in the courtyard. Lars, however, seemed to keep to himself, often wandering the gardens and avoiding his brothers. Iduna couldn't help but wonder what had shaped the princes into the people they were today. Were they happy, or were they struggling with the expectations placed upon them? She longed to know more about their lives and their relationships with one another. One day, as she was walking in the gardens, Iduna saw Hans, a prince of the Southern Isles, sitting on a bench, staring at the ground. He looked troubled, and Iduna sensed that something was wrong. "Your Highness," she said, approaching him. "Is everything all right?" Hans looked up, startled, and Iduna saw a flash of pain in his eyes. "I'm fine," he said, quickly covering his emotions. "Just...thinking." Iduna nodded, understanding. She sat down beside him, and they sat in silence for a moment. "I'm Hans," he said, breaking the silence. "I'm one of the princes of the Southern Isles." Iduna smiled. "I'm Iduna, the Queen of Arendelle," she said. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Hans." As they talked, Iduna sensed that Hans was struggling with his family's expectations. He seemed to be suffocating under the weight of his family's legacy, and Iduna wondered what lay beneath his troubled exterior. Little did she know that Hans's struggles were only just beginning, and that their paths would soon become intertwined in ways she never could have imagined.
