Chapter 2: Love in the Spotlight

Part 2

As they stepped out of the apartment, Lex gave herself a once-over, checking her appearance one last time. Satisfied that she was ready to take on the day, she gave Jey a bright smile. "I was born ready, mi amor. Let's do this." Jey chuckled and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close. His eyes roamed over her body, and he couldn't resist giving her a playful squeeze. With a swift motion, he smacked her ass hard, making her jump. "Jey!" Lex exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise as she glared back at him. Her face was a mixture of shock and amusement, and Jey couldn't help but laugh. "Hey, I just couldn't help myself," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You look too good in that dress." Lex playfully rolled her eyes, but a smile played on her lips. "You're going to get it for that," she warned, her voice husky. Jey grinned, knowing he was taking a risk. But he couldn't resist the opportunity to tease his wife. He leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear. "I'm counting on it," he whispered, making her shiver. As they walked out of the building, Lex couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. She loved the way Jey made her feel, like she was the only woman in the world. His eyes seemed to see right through to her soul, and his touch sent shivers down her spine. Their driver, Jose, greeted them with a warm smile as they approached the car. "Buenos dias, Mr. and Mrs. Uso," he said, opening the door for them. As they slid into the backseat, Lex couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. Today's photo shoot was going to be a big one, and she was ready to give it her all. Jey, sensing her tension, wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. "Hey, relax," he said, his voice low and soothing. "You're going to kill it out there." Lex smiled, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. With Jey by her side, she knew she could conquer anything. But little did they know, today was going to bring its own set of challenges, and their love would be put to the test in ways they never could have imagined. As the car pulled away from the curb, Lex gazed out the window, her eyes lost in thought. She had a feeling that today was going to be an interesting day.
