As they finally came up for air, Maya's body felt like jelly, her muscles weak and her senses heightened. She smiled softly at Bella and Nick, her eyes meeting theirs in a moment of pure connection. Nick's hands moved to Maya's hips, his fingers tracing the curves of her skin as he pulled her close. "I think that's an understatement," he said, his voice filled with laughter.
