Neijire walked into the room, a sly grin spreading across his face as he scanned the crowd. His eyes landed on Shindo, and he strode over to him, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Shindo, truth or dare?" he asked, his voice low and teasing. Shindo looked up at Neijire, his expression calm and collected. "Truth," he said, his voice firm. Neijire's grin grew wider. "Okay, here's the question: would you fight over Vesper if other boys liked her too?" he asked, his words hanging in the air like a challenge. Shindo's eyes flicked over to me, and I could see a spark of amusement in them. He looked back at Neijire, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Gladly," he said, his voice filled with conviction. As Shindo spoke, he gave me a smile, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest. I tried to play it cool, but I could feel my face heating up.
