"Abandoned in the Desert"

Part 2

The stars shone brighter now, casting an unforgiving light on the scene below. As Viper finished her assault, she released Sage from her grasp, and the older woman crumpled to the ground, her body trembling with pain and fear. Viper's eyes gleamed with a sadistic intensity as she gazed down at Sage, her chest heaving with exertion. With a careless movement, Viper kicked Sage's discarded clothes into the darkness, leaving the older woman naked and vulnerable. Sage whimpered, her eyes welling up with tears as she scrambled to cover herself, but Viper's boot came down, pinning her to the ground. "Don't," Viper warned, her voice dripping with menace. "You're not in any position to be modest." Sage's gaze met Viper's, and for a moment, they locked eyes, the air thick with tension. Then, Viper stood, her movements fluid and economical, and Sage was left to writhe in the dirt, her body throbbing with pain. As the night wore on, Viper's attention seemed to wander, her gaze drifting out to the horizon. Sage took advantage of the distraction, slowly pushing herself up from the ground. Her body screamed in protest, but she bit back a cry, her eyes fixed on Viper's back. The younger woman didn't seem to notice Sage's movement, too caught up in her own thoughts. Sage took a tentative step forward, her eyes fixed on Viper's dagger, which lay glinting in the moonlight. It was a small, slender blade, but it was all she had. With a surge of adrenaline, Sage launched herself at the dagger, her hand closing around the hilt as Viper spun around, her eyes narrowing. For a moment, they froze, the air thick with tension, as Viper's gaze flicked from Sage's face to the dagger in her hand. Then, Viper smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "You think you can escape?" she taunted, her voice dripping with amusement. "You think you can defeat me?" Sage's grip on the dagger tightened, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew she had to act fast, or risk being trapped forever in this desolate landscape. With a fierce determination, she steeled herself for the fight ahead, her eyes locked on Viper's.
