"A Night to Remember"

Part 152

The room was quiet now, the excitement and energy of the competition dissipating as we all began to wind down. I smiled at Shinso, still looking pleased with himself, and nodded. "Time for bed, everyone. It's been a long day." The others nodded in agreement, stretching and yawning as they stood up. Deku and Bakugo clapped each other on the back, laughing and chatting as they headed towards their rooms. Kirishima and Todoroki followed suit, exchanging quiet words as they disappeared into the darkness. Mina bounced over to me, giving me a hug. "Goodnight, Vesper! Thanks for organizing the competition. It was so much fun!" I smiled, hugging her back. "Anytime, Mina. Sweet dreams." As the others continued to say their goodnights and head to bed, I turned to Shinso. "You can take the bed closest to me," I said, nodding towards the empty bed. Shinso grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement, and climbed into bed. As I settled into my own bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. The competition had been a success, and it had been wonderful to see everyone let loose and have fun. I glanced over at Shinso, who was already drifting off to sleep, a peaceful expression on his face. I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. He had been a great sport, and his win had been well-deserved. I closed my eyes, listening to the sound of his gentle snores, and let myself drift off to sleep. The room was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of the air conditioning and the occasional creak of the beds as we shifted in our sleep. It was a peaceful, serene atmosphere, and I felt grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful friends. As I drifted off into a deep sleep, I couldn't help but wonder what the next day would bring. But for now, I was content to simply rest, surrounded by the people I cared about. And as I fell asleep, I smiled, knowing that it had indeed been a night to remember.
