### Training and Tension
Part 5
The clang of metal on metal echoed through the Avengers Compound's training facility as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy stood side by side, sizing up their opponents. The air was thick with tension, the atmosphere charged with a mix of anticipation and unease. "Alright, let's get started," Black Widow called out, her voice crisp and authoritative. "We've got a lot to cover, and not a lot of time to waste." She stood beside Captain America, who nodded in agreement. Harry nodded, his eyes locked on the Avengers training team. He was eager to get started, to prove himself in this new and unfamiliar world. Draco, on the other hand, seemed less than enthused, his expression skeptical as he gazed at the assembled warriors. The training session began, with Harry and Draco pairing off with the Avengers to practice their combat skills. Harry worked seamlessly with Black Widow, their movements fluid and synchronized as they took down their opponents. Draco, however, clashed with Thor, their styles and techniques at odds. "You're doing it all wrong, Malfoy," Thor said, his brow furrowed in frustration. "You're relying too much on magic. You need to think like a warrior." Draco's eyes flashed with anger, his wand at the ready. "I am a warrior, Thor. I've fought in battles you can't even imagine." The air seemed to vibrate with tension as the two men faced off. The training session continued, with Harry and Draco working tirelessly to master the Avengers' techniques. As the day wore on, Harry began to feel a sense of camaraderie with Black Widow, their banter easy and relaxed. Draco, on the other hand, remained aloof, his interactions with Thor growing increasingly strained. As the training session drew to a close, Harry approached Draco, who was standing off to one side, his eyes narrowed in thought. "Hey, Malfoy," Harry said, his voice low. "You're not exactly making friends, are you?" Draco's gaze snapped up, his eyes locking onto Harry's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. "I'm not here to make friends, Potter," Draco said finally, his voice cool. "I'm here to stop Thanos." Harry nodded, his expression neutral. "Fair enough. But you might find it's easier to get the job done if you work with the team, rather than against them." Draco's expression didn't change, but Harry detected a flicker of awareness in his eyes. It was a small spark, but it was enough to make Harry wonder if there was more to Draco Malfoy than met the eye. As they walked out of the training facility, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The tension between him and Draco was still there, simmering just below the surface. But he also sensed a glimmer of possibility, a chance that their uneasy alliance might eventually become something more. The corridors of the Avengers Compound were bustling with activity, the air thick with the smell of sweat and metal. Harry felt a thrill of excitement as he walked alongside Draco, their shoulders almost touching. It was a small step, but it was a start. For now, though, Harry was content to keep his thoughts to himself, to observe and learn as he navigated this new and unpredictable world. The future was uncertain, but one thing was clear: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy were in this together, whether they liked it or not.
