**Chapter 21: A Flood of Love and Support**

Part 21

As they sat together, basking in the joy of sharing their news with the world, Jacquie's phone started ringing. She smiled, seeing her best friend, Emily's name flashing on the screen. "Hey, Em!" Jacquie exclaimed, answering the call. "OH MY GOSH, I JUST SAW YOUR POST!" Emily squealed on the other end of the line. "TWINS?! You're having TWINS?!" Jacquie laughed, happy to share the excitement with her friend. "We sure are! We're beyond thrilled, and a little shocked, but mostly just happy." "I can imagine!" Emily chimed in. "I'm so happy for you guys. When are you due?" "We're about 12 weeks along," Noah chimed in, taking the phone from Jacquie. "The doctor said everything looks great, and we're just waiting for the 20-week scan to find out more details." "That's amazing!" Emily exclaimed. "I'm going to be an auntie twice over! I'll start sending you care packages and baby gifts ASAP." Jacquie and Noah exchanged a laugh, grateful for their friend's enthusiasm. "We appreciate that, Em," Jacquie said. "We're going to need all the help we can get." As they chatted with Emily, more calls and messages started pouring in. Jacquie's mom and dad called to congratulate them, followed by Noah's siblings, and then their closest friends. The house was filled with the sound of laughter and chatter, as they basked in the love and support of their community. As the morning wore on, Jacquie and Noah decided to take a break from their phones and enjoy some quality time together. They made themselves a cup of coffee, sat down on the couch, and just looked at each other. "I feel like we're on cloud nine," Jacquie said, snuggling into Noah's side. "I know exactly what you mean," Noah replied, wrapping his arms around her. "This is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and I'm so glad we're doing it together." As they sat there, holding each other and feeling grateful, Jacquie's mind started wandering to all the things they needed to do to prepare for the twins. "We should start looking for a bigger house," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Noah nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I've been thinking about that too. We can start looking for a new place this weekend." Jacquie's eyes lit up. "That sounds like a plan. And we need to start reading up on twin parenting, and finding a pediatrician, and..." Noah laughed, interrupting her. "One step at a time, my love. We'll get there. For now, let's just enjoy this moment, and the love and support that's surrounding us." Jacquie smiled, feeling her heart full of joy and gratitude. She knew that with Noah by her side, they could face anything that came their way. And as they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, they knew that they were ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime.
