"A Night Under the Stars"

Part 9

Oliver had been suspicious of Seth and Elias's behavior around Liliana for weeks. He had seen the way they looked at her, the way they touched her, and he knew that they were up to something. But he had no idea what. That was until he stumbled upon their plan. He was walking back to his room late at night when he heard their voices coming from the common room. He approached quietly, not wanting to be seen, and listened in on their conversation. They were talking about Liliana, about how they were going to win her over, about how they were going to make her theirs. Oliver's heart sank as he listened. He had feelings for Liliana, feelings that he had been trying to ignore for a long time. But hearing Seth and Elias's plan made him realize that he couldn't ignore them anymore. He wanted to win Liliana over, to make her his. But he knew that he couldn't compete with Seth and Elias's tactics. They were charming, handsome, and confident. Oliver, on the other hand, was more reserved, more introverted. He didn't know if he could keep up with them. As he walked back to his room, Oliver made a decision. He was going to win Liliana over, but he was going to do it his way. He was going to take her out on a night swim. He had always loved swimming, and he knew that Liliana did too. He remembered her telling him about how much she loved the feeling of being in the water, how it made her feel free and alive. He decided to use that to his advantage. The next day, Oliver approached Liliana as she was walking back to her room. "Hey, Liliana," he said, trying to sound casual. "I was thinking of going for a swim tonight. The moon is full, and the water is supposed to be calm. Would you like to join me?" Liliana looked at him, surprised. "A night swim? That sounds amazing," she said, her eyes lighting up. "But I don't know, Oliver. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that." Oliver smiled. "Come on," he said. "It'll be fun. Just us, the water, and the stars." Liliana hesitated for a moment, and then she nodded. "Okay, I'll come." That night, Oliver met Liliana by the lake. The moon was full, casting a silver glow over the water. Liliana was wearing a swimsuit, her hair tied up in a ponytail. She looked beautiful, and Oliver's heart skipped a beat. As they walked into the water, Liliana let out a gasp of delight. "This is amazing," she said, her eyes closed, her face tilted up to the moon. Oliver smiled, swimming up to her. "I told you it would be," he said, taking her hand. As they swam, Liliana felt a sense of freedom that she had never felt before. The water was cool and refreshing, and the stars were shining brightly above them. She felt alive, and she felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be. But as she looked at Oliver, she saw him in a new light. She saw the way he smiled, the way he moved through the water, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She realized that she had been overlooking him, that she had been so caught up in Seth and Elias's charm that she had forgotten about Oliver. As they swam, Oliver took Liliana's hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. She felt a spark of electricity, and she knew that she was in trouble. She was falling for Oliver, and she didn't know how to stop. As they got out of the water, Liliana turned to Oliver, her eyes locked on his. "Thank you for tonight," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Oliver smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anytime," he said, his voice low and husky. Liliana felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew that she was in for a wild ride, one that would change her life forever.
