## Chapter 2: Poisoned Intentions

Part 2

The chaos that erupted on the set of The Kelly Clarkson Show was a stark contrast to the lively atmosphere that had filled the studio just moments before. As the medical team rushed Sabrina to the hospital, Kelly's mind was racing with questions. What had caused Sabrina's sudden and severe reaction? And what role had Samantha played in it? As they sped through the streets, Kelly turned to Nick, her voice firm. "Nick, I need to know what happened. Did Samantha make those smoothies herself?" Nick's eyes were fixed on Sabrina's pale face, his expression a mix of worry and guilt. "I... I don't know. I mean, she offered to bring them, and I didn't think anything of it." Kelly's eyes narrowed. "I need to talk to Samantha." The hospital's emergency room was a flurry of activity as the medical team worked to stabilize Sabrina's condition. Kelly paced back and forth, her eyes fixed on the door, waiting for news. Finally, a doctor emerged, his face grave. "Ms. Clarkson, Sabrina is stable, but she's going to need to stay here for a while. We're running some tests to determine the extent of the allergic reaction." Kelly's face was etched with relief. "Thank god. I was so scared." The doctor's expression turned serious. "I need to ask you some questions. Did anyone notice anything unusual about the smoothies or Samantha's behavior?" Kelly's eyes locked onto Nick's, a spark of accusation flashing between them. "Samantha seemed a bit... off," Kelly said slowly. "But I didn't think anything of it at the time." The doctor nodded, making a note on his pad. "I'll need to speak with Samantha and get a statement from her." As the doctor walked away, Kelly turned to Nick, her voice low. "Nick, I think we need to talk about Samantha. I don't trust her." Nick's eyes dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know what you're thinking, Kelly. But I had no idea she was capable of something like this." Kelly's expression softened. "I'm not saying it's your fault, Nick. But I do think it's time we got to the bottom of this. Let's go talk to Samantha." Meanwhile, Samantha sat in the hospital's waiting room, her expression a mask of innocence. But as she caught sight of Kelly and Nick approaching, her eyes flashed with a hint of malice. "Hey, Kelly," Samantha said, her voice sugary sweet. "I'm so glad Sabrina is going to be okay." Kelly's eyes narrowed. "Samantha, I need to ask you some questions." Samantha's smile grew wider. "Of course, Kelly. I'm happy to cooperate." But as Kelly began to question her, Samantha's composure began to slip, revealing a glimpse of the sinister intentions that lurked beneath her sugary sweet exterior. And Kelly was determined to expose them, no matter what it took. The investigation into Sabrina's poisoning had just begun, and Kelly was ready to dig deep to uncover the truth. But as she looked into Samantha's eyes, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was in over her head.
