**The Unexpected Encounter**
Part 11
I then felt a tap on my shoulder and looked behind, expecting to see one of my group members. But to my surprise, it was none other than Monoma, the infamous student from U.A. High School. He had a sly grin on his face, and I couldn't help but notice that his hair looked eerily similar to mine. I figured he must have copied my quirk, and a mixture of excitement and unease washed over me. "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Vesper," I said, trying to sound calm. Monoma chuckled and introduced himself. "I'm Monoma, nice to meet you too, Vesper. So, what brings you to the U.A. entrance exam?" I asked him, curiosity getting the better of me, "What about you, Monoma? What's your quirk?" Monoma's grin grew wider as he said, "My quirk is that I can copy quirks. It's quite useful, don't you think?" My eyes widened in surprise, and I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy. I didn't expect him to be so straightforward about it. Monoma then asked me, "What's your quirk, Vesper?" I hesitated for a moment before responding, "It's shadow manipulation." Monoma's eyes lit up with intrigue, and he exclaimed, "That sounds interesting! I think I'll just copy it for now." Before I could react, Monoma's eyes glowed, and I could sense his quirk at work. He was copying my ability, and I could feel a strange sensation as our quirks merged. With our newfound abilities, we set off to take on the exam. Monoma and I worked together seamlessly, using our quirks to defeat the bots with ease. I felt a surge of confidence and excitement as we worked together, and I was convinced that I had passed the exam. As we took a break, I noticed Deku struggling to take down the bots. He managed to defeat one, but it was a close call, and his score was a mere 0.1 points. However, he did rescue a girl from a bot, and I knew that would surely give him some bonus points. "It's fine, I think you'll pass," I said, trying to reassure him. Just then, Monoma spotted both Deku and me and walked over to us. "Hey, can I have your number?" he asked, looking at me with a mischievous grin. I raised an eyebrow but agreed, "Sure." Monoma said, with a smirk, "You should feel honored that I'm asking this question." I chuckled and exchanged numbers with him. Deku looked on, a bit perplexed by the sudden exchange. With that, Monoma bid us farewell, and Deku and I decided to head home. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation about the results. Would we make it into U.A.? Only time would tell.
