**Chapter One: Summer Fun**
Part 1
The warm sun was setting over the cabin, casting a golden glow over the four friends as they lounged around the living room. Jordan, a 17-year-old girl with long, curly brown hair, was reclined on the couch, her eyes fixed on the TV as she watched a funny video on her phone. Justin, her closest friend, a charming 18-year-old boy with messy blond hair, was sitting next to her, playfully teasing her about her hair, which was tied up in a messy bun. The twin brothers, Nick and Nolan, both 18 years old, were engaged in a heated game of Mario Kart on their gaming console. Nick, with his short, spiky black hair, was determined to beat Nolan, who had his messy brown hair tied back in a ponytail. The room was filled with the sound of laughter and friendly banter. "I'm going to beat you this time, bro!" Nick exclaimed, his eyes fixed intently on the screen. "Oh no, you don't!" Nolan replied, grinning mischievously. "I've got this!" Jordan rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "You guys are so competitive. Can't you just have fun?" Justin chuckled. "That's what makes it fun, Jord. The competition." As they continued to hang out, the doorbell rang. Jordan got up to answer it, expecting it to be one of their neighbors dropping by to say hi. But to her surprise, it was a delivery person holding a small package. "Package for... um... Jordan?" the delivery person asked, checking the label. Jordan took the package, curious. "I didn't order anything online. Must be a mistake." Justin got up from the couch, intrigued. "Let me take a look." Jordan handed him the package, and he examined it carefully. There was no return address, just a small sticker that read "Sweet Treats" on the outside. "Hey, guys, come check this out," Justin called out to Nick and Nolan. The four friends gathered around the coffee table, and Justin opened the package. Inside, they found a small, colorful candy that looked like a cross between a gummy bear and a jellybean. "What's this?" Jordan asked, picking up the candy. Nick examined it carefully. "I don't know, but it looks weird." Nolan, always the adventurous one, grinned. "Hey, why not? It's probably just a prank from someone." Without hesitation, Nolan popped the candy into his mouth. The others watched in surprise as he chewed and swallowed. "Not bad," Nolan said, with a shrug. "Tastes like a mix of fruit and sugar." Justin, Nick, and Jordan exchanged a look, and then they all decided to try the candy. As soon as they swallowed, they felt a strange sensation wash over them. The room began to spin, and they all felt themselves getting drowsy. "What's happening?" Jordan asked, her voice slurred. Justin tried to speak, but his words were barely audible. "I... don't... know..." As they all fell into a deep sleep, the room around them grew quiet and still. The only sound was the ticking of the clock on the wall, marking the passage of time. And then, everything went black.
